Chesstown King's Reviews and Thoughts

This is G-Eazy's sequel to his 2014 album, These Things Happen. It's a shame this album didnt sell well cause I think its actually great. G-Eazy is really introspective on songs like "Wanna Be Myself" for example. On "Time" he talks about his friendship with the late rapper Mac Miller. Demi Lovato does a great job on the song "Breakdown". Of course the album opener is really hot too. Lyrically its typical G-Eazy...and the production is decent too.   This album by Kendrick's cousin Baby Keem is pretty good man. Baby Keem spits funny bars that I honestly don't take too seriously. There are some serious bangers here like the Kendrick Lamar assisted "Range Brothers" and "Family ties". I liked "South Africa" too as its pretty catchy. However it almost felt like for every good to great song there was a pretty average one. Baby Keem needs to work on his concepts and execution on some songs.
