Chesstown King's Reviews and Thoughts

I didnt review the songs or anything. I just listed my favorites.  10) The Way You Make Me Feel- This song has a really cool beat. MJ is sprung as heck in this song. “Just kiss me baby and tell me twice, that you’re the one for me”.  9) Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough- MJ’s first solo hit. The beat is fire, and the singing is something else…can’t he lp but think of Rush Hour 2 when I hear this. 8) Rock With You- This is one of the smoothest songs ever created. “When ya feel that heat, and we gone ride the boogie…” This one is made for the slow dances! 7) Wanna Be Startin Somethin- A terrific song, that I really didn’t listen to much when I was kid. Its long, but full of energy. MAMA SAY MAMMSUH! 6) You Rock My World – A terrific song, after MJ’s prime. It’s a very smooth, and simple song. Darkchild produced it. I really find the video quite comical. 5) Smooth Criminal- MJ’s gangster song lol. I’m not too sure wat the real theme is here to this day. But this is one bad a** song....

I suddenly felt like blogging about one of my favorite artists. MJ is arguably the greatest entertainer of them all. He's got hits...lots of hits. My favorites are Billie Jean, Thriller, Beat It, Remember the Time....the list goes on and on. Even as a toddler I loved the dudes music. Its just some of the best music period. In summer 2009 i learned of his death like i'm sure you did. I was cryiug. I couldn't believe it. But of course the legacy lives on. MJ like anyone had personal problems. The kids...he supposedly molested, and him always changing his appearance. But come on. This guy just appeared at a concert outside of the US, and the crowd went nuts. He literally just stood there. So yeah MJ was weird but he was the entertainment king gosh darn it!

The greatest album of all time in my opinion is filled with incredible songs from front to back. The King of Pop in his prime is no joke. My personal favorite song is Billie Jean, but u can’t forget about Beat It, Human Nature, and P.Y.T. The album title song Thriller is just that, thrilling and creepy while making you want to dance as well. Wanna Be Startin Somethin is a classic opener, while Michael and Paul trade words in a duet in The Girl is Mine. Baby Be Mine and Human Nature are also incredible. R.I.P. MJ the greatest. Perfect 10/10 of course!

 You must know that I am a HUGE Michael Jackson fan. I guess that’s what makes this such a tough review and a bit of a disappointment. The album is good, but it doesn’t feel complete. I think maybe Michael being the G.O.A.T.(Greatest of All Time) makes this album seem like its not up to par with his expectations. However this is a decent album. I must say that songs like Hold My Hand and Monster feature some really good collaborations. (I Can’t Make it) Another Day with Lenny Kravitz is also very good. I think the last song is a little too sappy. Overall I think MJ would be somewhat pleased with this effort. I'll give it an 8/10
