Dating Site Reviews

Okay so if you know me, I have a love and hate relationship with Dating sites. I love the features of dating sites...I guess my primary beef is the girls themselves. They are stuck up. They are shallow. They are hopeless romantics..lol. I'm not bashing women you know its true. Now I'm going to review a couple sites..maybe even more in the future. First up is Okcupid.com I actually like this site's features. On Okcupid they ask you questions and then give you a match % based on those questions with women. This is pretty useful. She might be hot but if she's not even a 60% match with me...then odds are we won't get along. No it's true because they ask very personal questions like What is the most exciting thing about getting to know someone new? Its just a beast site. It's major weakness is there just aren't a lot of people on it....Also girls seem less likely to reply here than on other sites. I'm not sure why. 8/10 Plentyoffish.com or POF  f

Album Review: M.I.A. AIM

I am a big fan of M.I.A. but I have really not liked her past 2 albums (Maya and Metangi). Albeit both of those albums had good production. AIM is better than those 2. I like the album but I’m not crazy about it. In fact everything here is above average but its not on her first 2 albums level. The first song is about as good as it gets. HMM. I am not bashing her or this album as I like both. She needs to reinvent her sound or something next time around. The biggest problem here is the album has a bunch of good songs but no true bangers like Paper Planes etc. This will do for now though. Verdict 8.8

It has no real weaknesses. The beats are better than West’s lyrics, but that’s to be expected. I feel Kanye came out the gate strong, and clearly ahead of all the new rappers of 04’. Excerpt from SGB Chronicles The stari are the sworn protectors of the Lylet System. They promote peace, justice and integrity. They were formed not too long ago. They have established temples wihich are more like schools across the galaxy. One of the main goals is to study and establish an “equilibrium” with the stars. All fighting must be done to keep peace or stop evil. Their philosophy on enemies is to respect your foe, and to spare them once they are defeated if possible. On the other hand of the spectrum are the cometri. Cometra are known primarily as the strongest evi in the Lylet System. The first cometri were actually renegade stari who didn’t agree with the stari teachings. They renamed themselves the cometra after establishing their mainland to their empire on planet Malia in the lands called Mali. Everything revolves around power or getting more. Also aggression and hatred can be used to reach one’s full potential. They believe that the strong survive and the weak w

Album Review: Run the Jewels- RTJ 3

RTJ (Killer Mike & El-P) have returned, and with yet another f***ing great album. This one is the longest, and arguably the best lyrically. The features all work well, especially Trina’s chorus on Panther Like a Panther. Danny Brown does well too on his feature.  So I mean this album is 3 points away from masterpiece, and that surprises no one. The last 3 rd of the album isn’t as exciting as the first 2/3s but its still greatness. El-P and Killer Mike are great rappers with excellent delivery and flow. The production is great too. RUN THE JEWELS, Live at the garden son… Verdict: 9.7

Album Review: A Tribe Called Quest- We Got it From Here...Thank You 4 Your Service

Ah the final A Tribe Called Quest album.. Confession; I’ve never heard one before. Now I see what al the hype was/is about. This album is awe inspiring and uplifting. It’s also full of sharp rhymes, albeit not the best rhymes I’ve ever heard but still greatness. We the People addresses Trump’s ideals, Kids talks about mumble rappers, The Donaldis a tribute to Phife Dawg. Its one album you cannot miss. Guests include: Kanye West, Talib Kweli, Andre 3000, Kendrick Lamar, and Busta Rhymes. Verdict: 9.7

Album Review: Bruno Mars 24K Magic

Ah yes Bruno is back! I didn’t care too much for his last album, Unorthodox Jukebox…but this one is really good. It grew one me, I initially didn’t like it all that much. He’s got this super glossy R&B sound here and it works. Most songs like the title track and Perm are really good. The production is great and whoever said Mars couldn’t sing was a goddamn liar. Some songs are a tad bit too similar, lowering the depth score a little bit. His career is very much alive in 2016/2017. Verdict: 9.3

My Favorite Video Games of 2016

Ah i promised you a countdown of video games but honestly....The list is too short, and too hard to rank...instead i'll give you my top 3. 3) Gears of War 4- The reason I bought the Xbox One. Its a fun squad based shooter. It's controls are top notch, and I love the acting. 2)NBA 2k17- I love NBA...and I love 2k. ANd this is the best one i've played since 2k9. And thats saying something...ok ok ok maybe 2k11. They even brought back playoff mode. 1) Uncharted 4- Now this game got a 9.85 and it deserved it clearly. Its combination of action set pieces, puzzles, and voice acting. Its just one of the best games period.

Album Review: Ab-Soul Do What Thou Wilt

Ab-Soul returns with another album after about 2 years. This album is very weird, deep, and lyrical. I gave Ab a 9/10 lyrically. I almost felt they were higher but the hooks aren’t that effective again, but overall this album is clearly better than These Days. There’s lots of great bars here. Production is good too, and the album holds up well on repeated listens. There is rarely a dull spot here. It’s a total mind-f***! However that also is it’s weakness, as Ab-Soul seems to be all over the place sometimes.  8.9/10

My Favorite R&B Albums of 2016

Well the year is past but here are my top 3.... 3)Usher-Hard II Love- It was fairly close, but I loved this album. I thought I was going to dislike it based off the single No Limit. However that song grew on me, as did the record. Usher is in near top form in 2016. The album just has too much going for it. My favorite song is Bump. "AT AT-WHat, DONT STOP DONT STOP" LOL 2) Beyonce-Lemonade- Say what you want, but Queen B tied for the highest R&B album this year.(K Michelle and Solange). I absolutely love the song Formation, as well as Sorry, Daddy Lessons, and Freedom. This is a side of B we really haven't seen before...or not this much...Beyonce' is on fire. 1) Rihanna-ANTI- Okay so i might need to rethink my rating scale...nah just kidding. Originally I gave this album  a 93/100, but its about a 95 truly. But this list isnt about numbers its about my preference. ANTI features a new look Rihanna. Its her 2nd best work to date(Good Girl Gone Bad), It&

2016 Rap Albums of the Year

1Here we have the top rap albums of 2016. I just got Run the Jewels so it will go with the 2017 albums. ALso i have no score for Ab-Soul and Vince Staples albums....but i dont think they woulda cracked the top 15 so.....there you go guys.  .        Common-Black America Again (97) One of Common’s best albums. Lyricism is on point here and the production and depth is not in question either. The title track is tremendous. It’s in a 3 way tie for the best album of the year. 2.        A Tribe Called Quest-We Got it From Here..Thank You for Your Service(97) I didn’t expect to like this album so much, but there’s plenty of guest spots which works. Q-tip is a shade or two below an all time great rapper too. Phife Dawg would be proud. 3.        Kid Cudi-Passion, Pain, & Demon Slayin (97) Arguably the most enticing album of the top 3. Kid Cudi’s return to form and great album of the 2010s. Well done Cudi. 4.        Kanye West-The Life Of Pablo (96) What else can I say about
