Video Game Review: God of War (2018)

Not too long ago I beat God of War for PS4 or God of war 4 as it's often called. I am a God of War veteran so to speak as I've beaten all the major games...even the ones for PSP. I like a lot about this new direction the series took in 2018. Let's get into it. The game is set in ancient Norway in the realm of Midgar. The setting is a breath of fresh air. This means new settings and new enemies. Also Kratos has a son that accompanies with you most of the time named Atreus. Atreus is an archer and he launches them with a single press of a button but later on in the game he will do more by himself in combat. The relationship between father and son is a major theme of this game.  Our anti hero Kratos is more subdued than he's ever been here and tries to teach his son the right way to do things. I found the game's revised combat and over the shoulder camera angle to be nice but it took some getting used to. Enemies will frequently get behind you forcing you to quickly tu...

My Favorite Small Forwards of All time

Here's a list of my favorite small forwards all time. 10) Ron Artest (Metta World Peace)- MWP was a really good player. I didnt really like him until he joined the Lakers for the 2009-2010 season. He's an elite defender, and oh yeah, a decent rapper too. 9) Lamar Odom-Odom was a swiss army knife kinda of player. He was good at scoring, rebounding and passing. I really think he woulda been a star on most teams but he played for the stacked Lakers in the late 2000s. 8) Paul George-PG gets a lot of respect from me. He became a star in a duel with Lebron James when Paul played for the Pacers. He's been really good for the Thunder too. George is a lockdown defender and just beyond decent shooter. 7) Paul Pierce-Pierce was a really good 2 way player who played mostly for the Boston Celtics. He was a deadly shooter and good defender too. Seeing him beat the Lakers in the 2008 finals was something to behold. 6) Elgin Baylor-EB is kinda of like a pre Lebron Lebron. He was ...

Jay Z GOAT Case (RAP DEBATE COURT ROOM)

Welcome to the Rap Debate Court Room. (RDCR) We will discuss why aforementioned rapper is the GOAT or Greatest of all Time. First we will discuss why Jay-Z or Shawn Carter is NOT THE goat.. Prosecution goes first.... P: Well Jay is a terrific rapper there's no doubt but I think he bites rappers like Notorious B.I.G. He is not as original as some think.....He lost a viscous rap battle with Nas. I dont have much to say against Jigga. Defense closes debate.... D: Well that's not much argument against Jay. He is a terrific lyricist and spitter. He has other rappers trying to be him. I think classics like Blueprint 1,3, and The Black Album say diffrently. I feel Jay Z makes rapping sound really easy. He has also been VERY commmerically succesful. I think all his albums have pretty much gone platinum Closing Arguments: TBH out of all the rappers (Not named 2Pac). Jay-Z proabably has the best case for GOAT. I just cannot see the rap game without Jay Z. I can only sa...

Tech Review: Apple Ipad (2018)

The Apple Ipad 2018 edition is very very refined. It is actually just like my old Ipad Air. Its thin as far as old Ipads go. Ithink that the Ipad is a very useful medium. You might be asking yourself, what is an Ipad or why buy one? I'll answer that right now. The Ipad is technically a media player that is like a big Ipod Touch. Every Ipad has  the ability to play music, movies, and add apps. The real reason to buy an Ipad is to have a "Big Screen" experience from Apple. So you might be wondering why get the 2018 version of the IPad. Not so sound like El-CHeeapo but its due to cost. I dont recommend buying this over the Ipad Pros but hey this is a cheap and really good Ipad. It has a fast processor and sharp screen. It also has a really good fingerprint scanner or as Apple calls it a Touch ID. It has the usual apps like Mail, Music, TV (Formerly Videos), Notes and many more. I just wish they'd give us a CALCULATOR app. Its not a deal breaker but yeah. Keep i...

Album Review: Nicki Minaj's Queen

Ok so I won’t mention Cardi again, but this album isn’t as good as Invasion of Privacy but its only a couple points behind…. Nicki is back with a damn good album. Lyrically she hasn’t improved but she’s as good as she was on her stellar Pinkprint. I love how fresh her sound is on Queen. “Chun Li” is really dope as is “Good Form”. Eminem kills it on “Majesty” and I think that’s the Imgaine Dragons singer on the hook. “Barbie Dreams” is the best song. She raps over a Biggie Smalls beat. Her level of creativity and goofiness is so good on that record. I feel this is her best album to date barely edging out Pinkprint. PP was dope but had too much filler and too many slow love type songs…ie bad depth. This is really good. I feel Nicki has a mid 90s album in her. Queen of rap and things of that! Overall Rating 93 Grade A- Lyrics 23 Beats 23 Depth 24 Tilt 23 Side note: There will be a femal...

Album Review: Logic-Bobby Tarentino II

Logic’s 2018 outing is good. Its got major hits like Contra and Everyday. The latter only grew on me after the video came out. I don’t have a lot to say bout the album. It’s a fun mixtape…but kinda doesn’t measure up to Everbody, Logic’s best album and the best rap album of 2017. AT THIS POINT, Logic is a top 3 new school rapper (Kendrick and J. Cole). Album is really good but I can’t wait for the official opfollow,up 2017’s best rap album Everbody. Who raps harder than BOBBY? Overall Rating 94 Grade A Lyrics 24 Beats 23 Depth 23 Tilt 24
