The Dragon Ball Z review-Saiyan Saga

Hey I'd like to take this time to talk about one of my favorite animes, Dragon Ball Z. This show has captivated me ever since I first saw it when I was ten years old. The show is really action packed. If you havent seen it yet, then i suggest you do. Im going to run through the saga quickly and give you some of my favoirite moments that I can remember from each saga. I am going to try not to include spoilers but sometimes you have to. Saiyan Saga part 1: This is the first saga. It starts fairly well. There is one villain, Raditz, who is Goku's older brother. I love how the events play out. Goku must work with a former villain, PIccolo, to defeat Raditz. Raditz probably would have won this fight, but Goku's son, Gohan gets pissed and attacks Raditz. Piccolo ends up charging up his special beam cannon and killing Raditz, who is restrained by Goku. The result is that the earth is saved, but Goku dies(for the first time out of many). Score: 8/10 S Saga part 2:  This where the s

Drake's NWTS Track by Track Review

Nothing Was the Same Tuscan Leather- The intro is long, and Drake knows it. The beat changes up here and there. It’s a great opener. Drake immediately shows he is going to deliver a better album than Take Care or TML. 9/10 Furthest Thing- One of my least favorite songs, but it isn’t bad. The beat is hot and Drake does his singing thang. 8/10 Started From the Bottom- Drake loves to keep that 3 rd track the banger track. Its not really one of the better songs but its catchy as hell. Drake says he came from the struggle but im not sure this song gets the message across. The only other thing is I wish this song was longer. 9/10 Wu-Tang Forever- A really dope song. WTF…(Hmm yea I’m abbreviating the title) doesn’t really have much to do with WU Tang Clan but it’s a different look for Drake. He continues the aggressive raps, but he effortlessly mixes that with singing. 9/10 Own It- This song comes right after WTF and that’s appropriate. It’s a slow song which fe

Pharrell's G.I.R.L. album review

Pharrell returns with a decent album, which is actually a R&B album. But its in the rap section since Pharrell is technically a rapper. This isn’t an easy album to review. The production is sound here. I really like the fresh sound. Happy is a huge single and certified banger. I really like the duets with Alicia Keys and Justin Timberlake. I felt Pharrell’s singing wasn’t great, but the lyrics are kind of tired on some songs. However the album is incredibly cohesive. I don’t feel like Pharrell took too many risks on here, but the result is a well-executed project. I wouldn’t say it’s a better project than In My Own Mind, but its certainly catchier. In the future I would like to see him rap but then again this is just fine. I"ll give it a 7/10 2nd opinion 8/10...

G-Unit (My THoughts)

This is sort of a My Thoughts. I'm going to be talking about one of my favorite rap groups. 50 Cent's G-Unit. I have already made a blog about 50 Cent....but I will comparing their albums and styles here. It's a shame that one of rap's great groups couldn't function or stay together...... G-Unit Members 50 Cent Lloyd Banks Tony Yayo Young Buck The Game Well 50 Cent is the leader of G-Unit. He has four albums now, but i will focus on his first 2 albums, Get Rich or Die Tryin...and The Massacre. His first album was hyped up alot, and for me, it met the hype. 50's lyrics and the production from Dr. Dre was incredible. I'd have to give the album about 9.5/10. Later(not too much later) G-Unit's first group album came out. It was hyped up...as it came out the same day as Jay-z's excellent Black Album. Unfortunately for some reason this album, Beg For Mercy, was only average.....There were some stand out songs but it was nothing special. A

My Thoughts-Eminem The Great White Hope

I'm a big Eminem fan, so its only fitting that i give you a little blog about him. I'm going to rewind to 1999 when he first came out. I remember thinking who is this rapper and yes i thought he was black when i heard My Name Is. Afterwards i was a fan, but not a huge fan. In 2002 i was given his first 2 albums. Also I had managed to get a (Bootleg) cd copy of The Eminem Show. So its safe to say that that is when I became a big fan. Eminem is a very interesting rapper. He raps mostly about his personal life: His ex wife Kim, his Mother, His Daughter, and then he disses other people( This includes non rappers). He has incredible creativity lyrically. In retrospect you kind of argue that Em was in his prime when he first came out....(Up until right after 8 mile). 8 Mile had one or rap's best songs, Loose Yourself. Around 2004 he released Encore. It was his worst album to date, but it showed that for once, Shady was losing his ability. I dont blame it entiresly on dru
