Album Review: The Game 1992

The Game has dropped a proper album upon us this year. Spoiler alert…its not as good as The Documentary 2s but it is great! Every song is good here for the most part, but most songs aren’t anything spectacular. The album is introspective. The Game tells you his story in or around 1992. The album has some nice samples like on F*** Orange Juice and However Do You Want It. I really don’t have any complaints with this album. Lyrically its terrific, and the beats aren’t too far behind. Let’s just say he’s an all time great rapper now. Verdict: 9.6/10

Video Game Review: Uncharted 4

Ok so i just beat that Uncharted 4 for PS4...it was lit...amazing, spectacular. It's time for a review! If you haven't played an Uncharted game then this is the one you could start with. It's' kind of like Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider. You discover ancient artifacts, shoot guns, engage in fist fights, and climb terrain...alot. Uncharted 4 is the best Uncharted for a few reasons. While all Uncharted games have great graphics and dialogue, its top notch here. And the Action sequences are incredible. The game involves you looking for the pirate Henry Avery's treasure to save main Protagonist's Nathan Drake's brother, Sam Drake. There's a plot twist halfway through the game that I wont spoil. The game has a lock on mechanic so combat is smooth as ever...but hit detection isnt always great. The enemies are smart too. They flank you and throw grenades sometimes when you have cover. Having played all the Uncharted games and beaten them except the PS Vit

Album Review: Travis Scott Bird's In The Trap SIng McKnight

I gotta admit I didn’t like his last cd that much, but this one…oh man! If you don’t like autotune you will hate this album. Luckly, I like it to an extent. It’s very odd that he doesn’t have any guests mentioned except Young Thug…there’s more guests than Thugger on this! The best song here is without a doubt Through the Late Night, with Kid Cudi. The album has a weird vibe too it. The lyrics again are nothing special but the beats are pretty hot. Ultimately this is a good album, but the songs sound a lil too similar for my taste. Give it a chance…Straight UP! Verdict: 8.5/10

Album Review: Pharrell Williams-In My Mind

Pharell’s first debut album is decent but sounds very minimalistic for some reason. You’d expect to hear stellar beats…the beats are good. The lyrics not so much. I mean the hooks are good throughout but the bars??? LOL. I do like this album however. There’s a good guest list including Jay Z, Nelly, Snoop Dogg, Slim Thug, and Kanye West. Some songs are real standouts like That Girl, Number One, and How Does It Feel? Can I Have It Like That is the best song in my opinion but Show You How To Hustle is a a close 2 nd or 3 rd .. Ultimately Pharrell was cashing in on his own success but this album isn’t up to usual Neptunes standards. Verdict: 8.3/10

Album Review: 2pac Loyal to the Game

- A 2pac album produced entirely by Eminem…hmm doesn’t sound that great on paper, but its actually a good album. Pac’s lyrics are what make the album. His delivery is great, and flow is really good too. Em’s beats are inconsistent sometimes, but are good for the most part. The 4 remixes are produced by other people than Em, and are all good.  My personal favorite songs are Out on bail, and Ghetto Gospel. They are great because they showcase his 2 of his sides. The thug and then the socially conscious rapper.  Overall this is an album that’s well balanced, and with good replay value. You’d almost think the man had never passed… 8.1/10

Album Review: 2 Chainz & Lil Wayne

The 3 rd 2 Chainz album is a rap duo album with Lil Wayne…and its pretty good. Its nothing spectacular however. The subject matter is tired, but I honestly didn’t expect more. 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne have chemistry but most of the songs are kinda stale. I had more fun with 2 Chainz first 2 projects in retrospect. So there u have it folks. Listen if u want to but honestly 2016 has better music to offer than Collegrove. Verdict: 8.2/10

Album Review: Justin Timberlake Justified

JT’s first solo album is really hot like fire. The beats are predominantly done by the Neptunes. They are some of the most lively and intricate beats you’ll hear. Lyrically Justin does great too. The hooks are great. This is an album with few weak songs. I feel it’s not as good as Future Sex Love Sounds, but its right there. (Oh No) What You Got is a great Timbaaland produced track. Rock Ya Body and Like I Love You are so addictive. Cry Me A River however, is the best song. This was the start of a very successful solo career. The Verdict 9.6/10

Album Review: Usher Hard II Love

Usher’s 2016 outing is much better than I expected, especially after an only decent single No Limit, feat. Young Thug. The singing is really good, as is the production. The song Bump is my favorite, its so awesome. The album is filled with bangers. Its not like the last Usher album, Lookin 4 Myself wasn’t good, but this is better. The title track is really good too. Ultimately this is proof that Usher has not fallen off (even if he was close to.)  If you’re fan of Usher or RnB music do yourself a favor and listen to this! Verdict: 9.5/10

Video Game Review: Star Fox Zero

It's time for another video game review. This one is a little overdue I must admit. I grew up playin Star Fox 64 on the N64. This game is kind of a retelling of that game, instead of a true sequel. The game is a space shooter where you pilot various vehicle and shoot enemies. The Star Fox  seriess high on action, and Zero is no different. Graphically the game is great. Colors are vibrant, and areas are varied. The sounds of the game are decent as well. You have to use the Wii U Gamepad to play, and you have to have the volume on to hear the cockpit dialogue i think. That chatter is good too. Your teamates give you tips and tell you to help them out. Enemies also have a lot to say. Now for the elephant in the room. The controls. You have to use the wii U gampad's motion controls for precise aiming. So in a sense you are constantly going to have to switch between your tv screen and the Gamepad. My eyes however got used to doing that. I dont think these are the easiest cont
