Intro : This song has a hot beat, It seems Wayne wanted to structure this album like Carter II….with 3 tracks with the same beat. 8/10 Blunt Blowin: A really addictive song. I love the chorus and the beat is pretty good. “You don’t need a bus pass for me to bust yo a** n****”! 9/10 Megaman: A fast paced song. Megaman is an interesting title. Perhaps Wayne feels the beat is like some of the music in the video game….I don’t really agree. 8.5/10 6 Foot 7 Foot: The successor to AMilli. This song is almost as good as that song. Wayne goes hard on every punchline. Young Gunz’s verse is tight but it’s so fast you almost can’t understand what he’s saying. Overall it’s a dope track. 9.5/10 Nigtmares of the Bottom: This is an interesting style for Weezy. This is a slow song dominated by Piano. Rap Regions West Coast Welcome ot the Westiiiiiide. The place where gangsta rap became more acceptable to the world. The west coast was on life support for many years with only Snoop Dogg makin hits. The death of the legendary 2pac was a big reason for this. Major Cities of Influence : Los Angeles ( Compton , etc) & California Key rapping traits: Lyricism are important, but more emphasis on delivery. The lyrics are very aggressive, in fact more hardcore than most East Coast rap. If it were a kid at high school: The upperclassman who’s a bully. He’s also fairly popular, but in more of an infamous way. Major Rappers 2pac: A LOT can be said about Tupac Shakur. For starters he really changed the rap game. I suppose his impact on the game can only be compared to Michael Jordan in the NBA. After Pac, rap was elevated to a new level. Pac wasn’t the best at flowing nor did he have the most clever wordplay, but his STORYTELLING and VERSATILITY were almost unrivaled. He h

I’m the Best: Nicki starts off strong with this opener. She gives you a tale of her success. She tells you why she grinds like she does. The top is lonely says Minaj. 9/10 Roman’s Revenge: Nicki is joined by a mean a** Eminem on this one. “ Rah Rah Like a dungeon dragon” Eminem’s verses are pretty good but he can’t seem to steal the spotlight from Nicki. 9.5/10 Did it On Em: Nicki jumps right out the box by saying sh**ed on em. This song has a hot beat. Nicki has a lot bold punchlines. The chorus is kinda stupid, but overall it’s an ok song. 6.5/10. Right Thru Me: A great track about a lover. The beat is fire, and I love the chorus. 9/10 Fly: Nicki is joined by Rihanna on this one. It’s pretty good, but I don’t think the chorus is all that but it’s a solid track nonetheless. 8/10 Save Me: Nicki needs some help from someone on this track. The Red Album Dr. Dre Intro - Dr. Dre jump starts the album by talking about how Game’s parents got together and how he was born. The City- a track featuring fellow west coast rapper Kendrick Lamar. The song bleeds with intensity. The chorus is hot, and lyrically Game doesn’t disappoint. Kendrick goes hard near the end of the song. The album is off to a great start. 9.5/10 Drug Test- One of the only songs that you would probably hear on the radio. It’s a dope short song. 8.5/10 Martians vs. Goblins- A dope concept type of track. Game is joined by Lil Wayne and Tyler the Creator.. Game’s verses are creepy, and Tyler spits a hot verse. The chorus is alright, but not all that creative. 9/10 Red Nation- A hot commercial sounding song. Wayne is on the chorus again. This song has a much faster tempo than My Life from L.A.X. 9/10 Dr. Dre 1- A nice skit from Dre again. He talks about when the Game was young and he watched Boyz in the Hood. Good Girls Gone Ba

Watch the Throne No Church in the Wild- The album starts off with this dark track. The beat is fire, and the Frank Ocean chorus is hot. The song asks human beings to a mob, what’s a mob to a king, whats a king to a god….and what’s a god to a nonbeliever? After the track you hear this interlude beat that’s pretty laid back. 9/10 Lift Off- Lift Off is a good song, but you can’t help but get the feeling it could have been better. The Beyonce hook is good, but Kanye just sings on it, and Jay’s verse doesn’t really say anything. The beat saves this song and keeps it above average. 8/10 N**gas in Paris - A really addictive song. The title is lame but the song is anything but. Jay and Kanye spit fire. The beat has a mysterious glossy sound to it. The chrorus is really hot too. 9.5/10 Otis- One of the best songs on the album. Otis has a fun sample and its well used. 9.5/10 Gotta Have It- A simple song, but really catchy. Jay and Kanye trade versus quickly.
