 I recently beat this Super Mario game. I have beaten the first Super Mario Galaxy game too. I gotta admit this might have been a better game. The two games are similar but the way you go stage to stage is very much more linear here. You basically travel with a chubby Luma named Lubba as you travel on a Mario head shaped spaceship.  The plot is kinda of a retelling of the first game. You are trying to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. There are a lot of returning elements from Galaxy one like Launch stars which can take you to a completely new planetoid in many cases. There are a lot of returning enemies from Galaxy one as well like Goombas, those little things that spit rocks at you, boo ghosts, bullet bills, Chomps, and hammer bros. Some of the boss fights were really creative. There was a big creature that was only vulnerable from underneath so it constantly forced you to go to one of the openings of the arena and ground pound it from below.  I gotta admit i was worried cause some movie reviews said this movie wasn’t all that. I really liked it ! The voice cast from the first movie is back: Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, and Keegan-Micahel Key as Toad. They are joined by newcomers Donald Glover as Yoshi (cause why not lol), Benny Safdie as Bowser Jr., Glen Powell as Fox McCloud, and Brie Larson as Princess Rosalina. The movie's plot is rather straight forward. Mario and company must rescue Rosalina from the clutches of Bowser Jr. I really thought Bowser Jr. was a cool villain. He commands alot of attention in his action scenes. Mario and Lugi are together throughout the movie this time. There's a scene in the movie where Peach and Toad just kick major butt. I really love that they put Fox McCloud in the movie too. His inclusion makes sense and his character was great. Yoshi was a likeable character too.  Bowser is kind of a good guy for at least...

 I haven't done a video game review in a while...and trust me I had a ton of video game reviews I planned to do. Hey here we are at a review of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom. I gotta admit this game was WAY better than I expected. Lets get into it. In this game you start surprisingly as Link (as every other game in the series)....and you fight Ganon right away at full hearts etc. Its pretty exciting...but after that Link falls into a portal and you find yourself playing as Zelda. Zelda goes to the castle only to see her father, the king fall into a rift (portal) and then imposters come out. After that Zelda gets blamed for the rifts and is thrown in jail.  I'll try to minimize spoilers but you get help from a little yellow fairy thing called Tri. Tri can make copies or echoes of objects or enemies. Its so helpful and unique. While watching other play this game on twitch I'd be like "wow I didn't solve the puzzle like that..." or "wow I didnt beat the enemy that ...

This is a review of the standard Nintendo Switch that I got in early 2018. I actually sold my Xbox One S to get it. I think it was worth it. Let’s get into the review. The Nintendo Switch doesn’t have much in terms of media features and you cannot even send friend messages between friends. This is a gamer’s game system to the fullest. The biggest selling point is being able to take Triple A games on the go with you or just play them on the TV. I really like this feature but I usually play in handheld mode even though its only 720p. The Switch controllers are really dope. They have HD Rumble and are very unique. I like how they can attach to the Switch or be played separately. Also the Pro controller is very comfortable. The games are absolutely great. This post is overdue but here it is. I am a long time Pokemon fan going all the way back to Red and Blue for Gameboy. However Yellow would be the first one I would own fore Gameboy Color. Anyways I couldn't wait to get my hands on a new Pokemon game for Nintendo Switch. The game is set in the Galar region which is like the Great Britain of the Pokemon world. I really thought the game looked great....from the NPCs, the environments, and of course the Pokemon. I found the battle animations to be decent.....I mean they looked better than Pokemon Stadium's animations. One of the major beefs many of the fans had with the game is they cut out like half of the known Pokemon from the other games. I mean that didn't really bother me that much as I'm more of a original 151 guy. Throughout my journey I was constantly trying to figure out what type an enemy Pokemon was. I finally was able to beat this stellar Zelda game not too long ago. The game is very challenging yet oh so satisfying when you overcome powerful enemies. The game looked great. There was so much variety in the environments. Unfortunately there's not much variation in the music. You usually just here a minimalist piano track as you travel. I recommend you tackle as many shrines as possible. The puzzles aren't typically too tough but there were a few I had to look online to solve. They are some very creative puzzles to solve. Some puzzles simply test your strength by making you fight a robotic enemy. Speaking of enemies, this game doesn't have a lot but there are stronger/different versions of them. Of all of them perhaps Guardians and Lynels are to be the most feared. The latter feels like boss battles. Guardians can shoot you to death with lasers but with Ancient arrows you can make short work of them. Of course when you beat an enemy you can take their weapons and...

15) SNES Classic- The SNES Classic is a great system. I think its definitely for a nostaligic gamer. I love the system. I never had a SNES back in the day, so I was happy to pre order and pick this up. My favorite games to play here are Zelda: A Link to the Past, Street Fighter II, SMW 1 & 2, F Zero, and Kirby Super Star Saga. I wish they'd allow this to be played with wifi. 14) Nintendo (Original)- This is where is it all began! I was like 6 years old when my father brought this home. It came with TONS of games too. I loved Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt. I also played Mega Man 6, Zelda 1&2 and 1942. What I didn't like about this system is it would only work like 70-80% of the time. My History of Video Games Have you ever wondered what video games got me into gaming or what I was playing during such and such console war? Well lemme break it down for you. Early Days I’m going to take you back to 1994. I got my first gaming system (not including PC), the Nintendo Entertainment system. Sure my Dad should have got me a SNES…but it was free….and looking back it was a piece of s*** system. Cause it barely worked. I had so many games….i had like more than 30…so take that Nintendo with your discontinued piece of …ahem lol. After that I got an N64 in 97 I believe. Yeah I was 9 years old. Let me tell you, back in 96-97 we had NEVER SEEN graphics like that before….so it was a beautiful system…and arguably the golden age of my gaming…however, I’m going to reexamine that quote later but remember this might be my golden age. New 3ds XL Review                 The New Nintendo  3ds(dual screen) Is a wonderful handheld system. It builds on what made the 3ds so great. There’s a great selection of games, and its backwards compatible with the other games from the DS library. The new 3ds has some really cool features. Truth be told I wasn’t going to get one, but the circle pad on my old one broke .                 So let’s cover what’s new. There is a stiff analog button on the right side. Its very good but few games actually use it so far(in 2015). The system also has 2 extra trigger buttons which can be useful. The 3d works a lot better as far as its ability to track your head.  There are some other changes too, but I don’t think I need to mention them.              ...

Zelda Majora's Mask....was one of my least favorite Zelda's when i played it on N64 over 10 years ago. However maybe that's just because I rage quitted on the final boss and never beat it.  However after playing this new version, for the 3ds, I gotta say its one of my favorites. This Majora features Young Link only, but he still rides Epona and still has sweet items like the Bow and Hookshot. You also get Masks which allow you to transform into a Deku, Goron, and Zora. This adds whole new gameplay mechanics. Deku Link flies, Goron Link Rolls, and Zora Link swims. Yes Masks are the lure of the game as there are plenty to collect and many do diffrent things..like the bunny hood which makes Link run faster. The game is like Ocarina of Time only in presentation and controls. The game has 4 main dungeons, and since you have to keep going back in time with the Song of Time before the 3 day time limit, there's an opportunity to redo old dungeons and events related to...

Video Game System Review Wii U This is a system review. I’m not going to go into a lot of specifications. I’m just going to give you what I feel about the system. I’m going to review a system I have. That’s only fair. I got the Wii U right after it came out. I really liked the Gamepad. I find myself playing on it while having the TV on something else often.. It’s a really handy device. Of course not all games (like Mario Party 10) enable that feature. The Wii Nunchuks are cool. I mostly just use them to play regular wii games. That is an awesome feature too. I missed out on a lot of wii games like Zelda Twilight Princess and Mario Galaxy(1and 2). The Pro controllers are very comfortable. I had to cop 2 of those. Graphically, the Wii U is good, but rather inferior to the PS4 and Xbox 1. It does have some nice features though. Theres an ability to share messages with other players even in a game with Miiverse. The stylus and the gamepad can be used as a browser. ...

I've done plenty of music lists, so i think its time to pay homage to my top video games of all time. I'm only going to mention games i've played. So, if a game you like is not up here(which I guarantee a few wont be) let me know. Lets get into it.... 1)       The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time- I have praised this game so many times, and it’s all well deserved. Ocarina has great controls and the graphics were nice at the time. I really love the story, and how the game is paced. You do a side quest of some kind, which generally isn’t long, then you go to a dungeon, get an item, use that item to get further in the dungeon, then beat the boss. Ocarina is, the best Zelda, and as of right now I don’t think that’s up for discussion. Okay i recently beat this game for the Wii U. It is everything a Mario should be. It has really nice graphics, and is a breath of fresh air with new suits and Yoshi....and not to mention Baby Yoshi. The story is the same as always: Peach is kidnapped by Bowswer......and his fam. Out of all of Bowser's kids u face off against baby bowser the most. The game has air tight controls and has multiplayer playthrough...but i can imagine having 3-4 players at once can be tough. The game gets really difficult later on, but with perseverance(and power ups sometimes) you can beat it. The games final showdown features a run to bowser with Baby Bowser on your heals....then u fight Bowswer the old school way. AFter that things get crazy. Overall I'd give this game a 9.0/10. Its not perfect but its one of the better games i've played period.

I am writing this to show my respects to what I think is the best(not greatest) game I have ever played. The original was released in 1998. The game just has everything a good game should have. There's an excellent story, Great Controls, Terriffic Enemies and Engaging Boss Fights. The graphics were also impressive for that time....the only thing I dont really like is the fact is that the game is mostly linear, but there are some side quests. The game starts off pretty easy, in fact on subsequent playthroughs I could breeze right threw the first 2 dungeons and their bosses. Gohma is pretty easy, and the KIng Dodongo is even easier if you know where to stand. The 3rd dungeon, Jabu Jabu's Belly will give you fits unless you know exactly what to do. I think i was stuck on one part for weeks. More than any other dungeon in the game do i think the new item you get is so effective. Without it you will struggle.
