 This is a album I meant to review a long time ago. It gets off to kind of a mid start but it gets better as it goes. The first song, the title track has like a mid track reset that is kinda annoying. " I Ain't Gone Hold Ya" is fire. "MJ Jeezy" is nice too. I really like the menacing feel of "Scarface".  "How Deep" is another great song. The album is very high tempo....with a mixtape vibe courtesy of DJ Drama who is all over this thing. Lyrically Jeezy is pretty solid here. I like the production too. Depth wise it was good too. Overall I'd say its not his best album since 2020 but its decent man.  Lyrics 22 Beats 22 Depth 21 Tilt 22 Verdict 87

The latest Jeezy offering is decent but considering it's his last album, I cant help but feel let down. The album doesn't have many flashy songs on it. The album has a stale feeling to it. "Big Sh**" and "Look Like" are good songs. "Already Rich" with CeeLo Green was dope. Overall the production was gritty but nothing new. I liked most songs here however like "MLK BLVD" which features Meek Mill. Lyrically Jeezy has spit better but this isn't a bad lyrical performance...I just wish Jeezy was going out with more of a bang than this TM104: the weakest of the Thug Motivations. Jeezy returns with yet another hot album. I can't say its better than Church in these Streets but its at least as good. The lyrics are dope as are the beats. Jeezy knows his lane by now and he sticks to it here. I really liked "American Dream" which features J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar. Jeezy's last 3 albums have all gotten the following score from me. Jeezy returns with this pretty good mixtape. Its got good lyrics and beats. Depth wise its not bad either, I just expected more. It is INCREDIBLY SAFE music. Not daring at all really. However songs like Let Em Know are really dope. Overall I’d rather listen to last year’s Church in the Streets, but I guess this will do till a proper release. Guests include: Yo Gotti, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, and French Montana. 8.6

Lets Get It: Thug Motivation 101 :The album that solidified Jeezy as a true rap star. This was one of my favorite albums back in late 2005(that’s when I copped it). Jeezy raps slow and some of his punchlines are predictable. Also the album is tad bit too long. Complaints aside this is a really good album. Jeezy has an impressive guest list here: Jay-z, T.I., Bun B, and Trick Daddy, Lloyd, and Young Buck. The beats are also fairly impressive. Some songs are a little too similar but this is a great start to a career regardless. B+ The Inspiration: Thug Motivation 102: This has got to be one of the most difficult albums I have ever reviewed. The first few songs are completely lacking in creativity. Then the album picks up with I Luv It, Go Getta, 3 AM….well it actually just goes up from there. This album has a different sound than TM101…and for the most part that’s a good thing.  Jeezy’s guest list includes Keyshia Cole, R.Kelly, T.I(again)….this is a good album but its not his...

Jeezy has released his 6 th album, and man is it good. There aren’t many guest spots and honestly there didn’t need to be many. Lyrically he sounds fresh, maybe more enthusiastic than he did on Seen It All, his last album. The album has great songs, but some sound a little too similar. Sweet Life with Janelle Monae is great, as is the song God. Overall it’s a great album, and a good addition to his discography. Verdict: 9/10 HAHAHAH

Ah yeah the 2008 dope boyz. Just a little name i came up with back in 08 for the Game, T.I., and Jeezy. In 2008 the 3 released popular albums: L.A.X, Paper Trail, and The Recession respectively. So let's look at those albums. First 08 dope boy: The Game The Game also known as Game, is a supremely talented westcoast mc. He's got a talent for name dropping and also mimicking his guest rappers or just other rappers in general. Game did the west coast proud with the release of L.A.X. , a very interesting album, without a lot of drama as was with 2006's Doctor's Advocate. Despite that i felt LAX was a tad bit better with lots of features which, is a characteristic of Game's albums now. It has lots of good songs on it, but not much in terms of variety. However Jeezy’s ad libs are good, and the guest list is great which includes Jay-z, T.I., Trick Daddy,Bun B, and Akon. Young Jeezy’s first album will remain one of my all time favorites. At the time, his flow, his adlib drenched songs were all very unique. I’ll start with the bad…in general his lyrics are nothing special, and his ad libs grow tired by the end of the album. Some of his punchlines can be rather predictable…yet funny. Tear it Up is catchy but very formulatic. Talk to Em is good, but feels out of place on this Trap Star’s album. Trap Star is a great song, and Bottom of the Map, Soul Survivor, and Go Crazy wit Jay-z are easily the best songs. Overall the album has decent beats, great depth, and ridiculous replay value….YEAAAAA! lol I give this album a 8.75/10....HAHAHHA!
