 I haven't reviewed a DMX album in a minute. This is a really dope album too. late 90s DMX was unstoppable commercially and its easy to see why. The singles here are amazing. "Party Up" is an all time favorite of mine. On "What's My Name" you really feel DMX's rough nature. I like how he slows it down for the ladies with Sisqo on "What These Bitches Want". "One More Road To Cross" is a good opener. This is a very well produced album. I liked most every song too. I haven't reviewed DMX's first 2 albums yet but this one might be the best one. This post will be rough. Christianity is a way to worship God. However they do this in ignorance not in knowledge. Hey reader reader. Wanna know what’s on every corner? A hooker and a church. The Christian church or the mother church, Roman Catholicism, comes from the Roman Empire. So maybe you’re wondering about a few things. Like a lot of holidays come from Pagan Rome which subsequently killed the Messiah by way of the cross. Papal Rome  came from the Pagan Rome....so why is this significant? Well cause the the devil cannot get past the cross or the flesh of Jesus or Yahshua. I believe in a living God...not a dead one. What the reader doesn’t know is that The man on the cross was God. The Bible even says that all those that believe God is “gone”or that we need a vicar or substitute for God....are ministers of the devil. Checkmate. Opening Opinion: 9.6/10                 The Slimshady LP is where Eminem’s career really took off. Technically its not his first body of work…but I don’t really consider Infinite legit. Let’s see how well this album holds up almost 20 years later.                 “Public Service Announcement” is   a funny skit. “My Name Is” was my first introduction to Em. It’s a great song. The jokes are funny af. “How you gonna breast feed me mom, you ain’t got no tits”. The beat is awesome too courtesy of Dr. Dre. “Guilty Conscious” features Dr. Dre. Its honestly one of the more creative tracks in slim’s library to date. Dr. Dre plays the good side of the conscious and Eminem plays the bad side. It goes through 3 scenarios.                 “Brain Damage” is one of my...

Verdict: 9.0 I Am…is a good Nas album. Most songs are really good. The production is good, and his bars are great. I mean its Nas, what do you expect. Some songs are kind of boring though. I don’t know if that’s because I’ve heard better Nas songs or what. The album has a lot of guests too which include Aaliyah, DMX, Scarface, and P.Diddy. Hate Me Now is a great track, but it doesn’t really get better than Nas Is Like. On other songs like Undying Love and Small World Nas proves why he is perhaps the greatest storyteller rap has ever seen. It’s a great album, but only a good Nas album.

The Verdict: 8.8 This is the conclusion of the Jay-z Volume trilogy. This is the album that has the monster song Big Pimpin which is arguably Jay’s biggest hit. The album has a good set of hits but its not incredibly deep though. So Ghetto, Do It Again, It’s Hot(Some Like It Hot), and Snoopy Track are some great songs. Then there’s some obvious filler but hey I really like the production on this album. Also his lyricism isn’t Jigga’s best but its still a 9/10. So if you haven’t heard this yet go ahead and listen to it.

Dr. Dre’s sequel to The Chronic is an excellent album. The production and lyrics are top notch..of course the production is better. The album is just a lot of fun to listen to. There’s a lot of help for Dr. Dre guest wise, but no one shines brighter than Eminem. Forgot About Dre and The Next Episode are back to back for crying out loud. There are some other highlights too like The Watcher, Xplosive, Big Egos and The Message. I originally rated this album a lot lower but nah bruh…its fire. Verdict is a 9.7/10.....yup.

Eminem’s first official album is really good with no major weaknesses. His lyrics are the album’s strongest point however. The jokes are funny and no song is dull. The Dr. Dre production is great also.  The first 3 songs Brain Damage, Guilty Conscience, and My Name Is are terrific, albeit different kinds of songs. Theres not a big guest list, but Royce da 5’9 assists on Bad Meets Evil. This a great album to have, and certainly one of Em’s better albums. Chicka chicka slimshady! Verdict: 9.3/10
