 I gotta admit this album took a while to grow on me. At its worst it kinda sounds like a rehash of some of his older work. Some of these songs are really catchy tho, like "Fuckin Up the Disco" and "Flame". The song "Technicolor" is entirely too long and drags on. "Love & War" was a really smooth highlight. The album isn't bad, in fact I prefer it to the very underwhelming Man of the Woods album which I also reviewed. The production is good but a step down from what I'm used to on a JT record. So yeah most of these songs were good....if you're a fan of his give this a spin....if not start with some of his older albums.  Lyrics 22 Beats 21 Depth 22 Tilt 21 Verdict 86

Oh yeah another J.T. album! But wait…its his worst album by far! The production is good but JT’s lyrics are corny and uninspired on most songs; like on “Supplies” Lol. Its not all bad tho, some of these melodies are really dope. Surprisingly I really enjoyed the country sounding songs near the end, like “Young Man” and “The Hard Stuff”. The album isn’t bad by any stretch, but its not really up to par with His first 2 albums…..I liked most of the songs so yeah give it a chance. Verdict: 8.4

Justin Timberlake’s much awaited album lives up to the hype. The album has some really great songs, with most of them over 5 minutes long. I like every song, but “That Girl” might be the weakest of the bunch, but I feel “Pusher Love Girl” is just too damn long. Mirrors is even longer, but it’s a better song. I felt the production of the album was really strong. JT does really well here too, especially considering Jay Z is the only feature. “Don’t Hold the Wall” is probably my favorite song. “Blue Ocean Floor” is  a good song that really stands out. The 2 bonus tracks are good too if  you’ve heard them. Verdict: 9.5

JT’s first solo album is really hot like fire. The beats are predominantly done by the Neptunes. They are some of the most lively and intricate beats you’ll hear. Lyrically Justin does great too. The hooks are great. This is an album with few weak songs. I feel it’s not as good as Future Sex Love Sounds, but its right there. (Oh No) What You Got is a great Timbaaland produced track. Rock Ya Body and Like I Love You are so addictive. Cry Me A River however, is the best song. This was the start of a very successful solo career. The Verdict 9.6/10

This blog is overdue. I promised I'd make it, and here it is. No, the great Michael Jackson is not included cause he would be #1, MJ is the G.O.A.T., so when u don't see him on my list don't panic...don't hate...just enjoy. 5) Katy Perry-Katy would be higher on this list, but I wasn’t really feeling her latest album, Prism, all that much. Teenage Dream, on the other hand is a classic. I really like Katy’s style. I liked as soon as I heard a couple singles on the first album(Yeah she kissed a girl etc.). I didn’t really get into her until TD though. 4) Jennifer Lopez- I’ve been a big Jlo fan for a while. Im not really a fan of her albums as a hole, but she’s got lots of hits. If You Had My Love is one of my favorite songs period. Her latest album A.K.A. is decent as well. 3) Lady Gaga- Gaga may be weird but that really brings personality to her music. It all started back with the song Pokerface. Before that I didn’t really think much of Gaga. I still...

Pusher Love Girl- It’s rare that an album starts with a song that is 8 minutes in length….however this song does a good job of setting the state for your 20/20 experience with Mr. Timberlake. The chorus is great, but I just wish the song was a bit shorter. 8/10   Suit & Tie- I didn’t like this song the very first time I heard it but man did it grow on me. The song features Jay-z, the great Brooklyn rapper. However JT is the star of the show, and Jay’s weak verse can’t steal the spotlight. The song has a varied beat, and is ridiculously catchy. 9.5/10   Don’t Hold the Wall- This song is really interesting. It has an Arabic feel to it(which seems quite common on Timberland produced songs). The lyrics are very clever here, and it’s clear that this midtempo song should have been the first song in my opinion. 9/10   Strawberry Bubblegum- J.T. slows things down a bit with Strawberry Bubblegum. Timbaland continues to add his vocals to the mix...

I am still breaking down JT's new album, but until then, heres a review of JT's 2nd album. Jt’s sophomore album is one of Pop’s best. The beats are fire, and JT delivers on most every song. The last song I didn’t really care for..it stood out like a sore thumb. On the bright side, the best songs are elite. I think the best might be between My Love and Lovestoned, but its hard to say. This is one of the better and most varied Pop albums you will ever here. I give this album a 9.5/10 Hit it JT!
