 I gotta admit I didn't like this album that much when I first heard it over half a year ago. I've heard that Kid Cudi doesn't exactly play to his strengths....that's partly true. I do like his rapping here tho. Honestly most songs here kinda blend together....."Keep Bouncin'" is really hype....and it gets the album off to a good start. "At The Party" with Pharrell Williams and Travis Scott may be my favorite song. "Wow" with A$AP Rocky is another highlight. Overall tho I feel this album tries too hard to be trendy. Cudi needed to put more of his pain into it. I mean a happy Cudi album isn't a bad thing but it really seems odd to me. You're not getting alot of singing or hums here know what I mean? However the production I found to be very good. Cudi is one of my favorite rappers like top 20 and I guess this will do for 2024. Lyrics 20 Beats 23 Depth 21 Tilt 21 Verdict 85

Kid Cudi returns with another solo album, and man this one is pretty damn good. It's a sequel to his Man on the Moon 2 album from 2010. The production is fantastic on most songs. Sometimes tho, lyrically I felt I had lost interest in Cudi's rapping but for the most part the album delivers. Songs like "Show Out" are really dope. "The Void" is classic Kid Cudi also. "Elsie's Baby Boy" is one of the weaker tracks but even that grew on me. I really liked pretty much every track here. Ultimately I think this is a good album and certainly worthy of Kid Cudi's varied discography. That replayablity (tilt) is high man. Lyrics 22 Beats 24 Depth 23 Tilt 23 Verdict 92

Honestly I feel this edition of M.T. is way overdue. I've been a fan of Kid Cudi from really 2009. The first time I heard of him was on Kanye's 2008 album, 808's and Heartbreak. It seems Kanye has a knack for finding great new talent: Like when he found Lupe and put him on his 2005 album, Late Registration. Kid Cudi aka Scott Mescudi is a then very unique rapper. Nobody was really singing melodic hooks that much and rapping like they do now back in 2008-2009. This melodic style seemed to influence Kanye West also, not the other way around. Kid Cudder's first album, The Man on the Moon: End of Days was really really dope. I think I gave it the highest mark of any rap album that year. I think I graded it a tad too harshly so instead of a 97/100 it could have been more like a 99. Two points might not seem like much but to me that's a lot. I loved how melancholic the album sounded on some tracks, and then it could sound upbeat the next track. The album dealt wit...

It’s beginning to look like musically Kanye and Kid Cudi can do no wrong musically. Especially Kanye. The album is part of that 7 song album short spectacle like the Nas and Pusha T albums. The first song has Kanye just barking like a dog.....and it’s just f***in hot. The album is really good and better than Ye which was good also. I...I honestly wanted more here. I mean more tracks. S1)Jay Z vs S5)Kid Cudi: It wont be easy but I think Jay will win by a at least 30 points! Flow: I like Cudi’s flow, but Jay has arguably the best flow in any bracket….(10-0) Creativity: Kid Cudi gets a slight nod here. He’s incredibly creative. (10-10) Storytelling: Jay wins here. It’s not really that close….at all. (20-10) Impact: I’d like to tell you it’s close, but nah. Jigga wins by a mile. (30-10) Collaboration: Tie. I know sounds nuts, but Kid Cudi does well on any feature too. (35-15) Versatility: Tie. Both rappers are really really versatile. Jay can make any kind of song, but so can Cudi. Cudder has made a come back with this stellar album. It’s got no weak songs and is very addictive. This album is a terrific return to form with songs like Rose Golden, Frequency, Surfin, and Illusions. Wounds is another dope track. Lyrically he’s on fire. The melodies are so smooth compared to those found on Speedin Bullet To Heaven. This album just made me forget about SBTH. The production is really cool too; laid back and soothing. Ultimately it’s just as good as Man on the Moon 1….before you call me crazy listen to it…its a contender for album of the year. 9.7

Kid Cudi’s 2015 offering isn’t that bad. I was worried that it would  be abysmal but no, it’s an Alternative rock album. The album features some skits here and there by Beavis and Butthead…yeah u read right lol. The album’s production is the best part. Kid Cudi’s singing is pretty average, and the lyrics range from good to just tolerable.  This album is a weird one and it’s a little too long.Cudi b’ses on those last bonus tracks…Fade 2 Red might be my favorite track. I can’t really say its for Cudi fans…no just fans of alternative music. Ok ok if you liked INdicud and the last short album give this one a try. The Verdict: Hmm it passes but barely...7.4/10

Kid Cudi’s 4 th album(3 rd solo) is a very good alternative rap album. It is a complex album. I feel its everybit as good as Man on the Moon II, and it feels like the first album but with more of a rock fueled feel to it. Kid Cudi’s lyrics are great as he does his rap/singer thing. The beats aren’t bad   either, as I hear Cudder did them himself.   My biggest complaint is that there aren’t that many stellar songs, but then again most of the songs are good….in fact I like them all. King Wizard, Red Eye, Beez, Young Lady, Unf***wittable, and Solo Dolo Pt. II are all great songs. Ultimately I think Kid Cudi still has the potential to make another near classic album but this will certainly due until Man on the Moon III comes out. I shall give this album a 9.25/10, but its more like a 9.3....but anyways good work Scott Mescudi

Kanye West & G.O.O.D. Music Cruel Summer Track by Track Review   To the World- “ R.Kelly and the God of Rap sh**in on you, Holy crap,” raps Kanye on this first track. It’s really catchy. Teyana Taylor does a nice job also. This song is a decent opener. 8.5/10   Clique- This is one of my favorite songs on the album. It’s even better than 3 Kings from the Rick Ross album in my opinion. Big Sean goes first and raps over this dope and dark beat. Jay-z is the star of this song. I haven’t heard him rap this hard since Blueprint 3. Kanye finishes up the song with a cool verse. 9.5/10   Mercy- The lead single is pretty interesting. There’s a lot of different elements here that make it more than just another rap song with more than 3 rappers on it. Big Sean goes first and does a good job with lines like “Ass-State” & “Ass-quake” lol. Then Pusha T goes next with a hot verse….he uses “Ho” a lot. Then Kanye steals the show with an exciting cha...

Kid Cudi-Man on the Moon 2 Track by Track Review  This album wasn't quite as good as the first one, but its good nonetheless Scott Mescudi vs. The World: A great album opener. Cee-lo provides a great chorus. I love this intro because it gives you a feel for the whole album. Kid Cudi raps boastfully, “whattup how’s everyone doing, you are now in the world I’m ruling.” 9/10 REVOFEV: I still don’t know what this song’s title means, but this is one addictive track. Cudi takes on the big brother role for the kids. Cudi does his “WHOAwhoaaa” on the chorus. “Let’s go I heard they found a solution, where will you be for the revolution”. 9.5/10 Don’t Play This Song: Here’s another hot song. Mary J. Blige assists him on the hook. “Pain, hurt, sadness, and loneliness”….its a sympathetic yet sad type of song. KC looks like he’s perfected his sound. 9/10 We Aite(Wake Your Mind Up): An interlude of sorts. It’s ok. It sounds like there’s a crowd behind him....
