ALbum Review: Dr. Dre 2001

Dr. Dre’s sequel to The Chronic is an excellent album. The production and lyrics are top notch..of course the production is better. The album is just a lot of fun to listen to. There’s a lot of help for Dr. Dre guest wise, but no one shines brighter than Eminem. Forgot About Dre and The Next Episode are back to back for crying out loud. There are some other highlights too like The Watcher, Xplosive, Big Egos and The Message. I originally rated this album a lot lower but nah bruh…its fire. Verdict is a 9.7/10.....yup.

Album Review: G-Eazy When It's Dark Out

Ah G-Eazy…hes another white rapper. This guy reminds me of Mackelmore…but he might be slightly better than that Pop Rapper. The album doesn’t sound dark at all. It’s got some variety here, and fresh beats. G-Eazy isn’t that bad on the mic either, even if he’s rarely rapping of anything of substance. Overall I’d say this album is a win. It grew on me lol. “B*Tch U got me f***ed up” raps G-Eazy, and yeah I did… The Verdict: 8.7/10!

My Thoughts: Dating SItes Revisited

Hey the blogmaster has returned to give you a recap or update on my deleted dating site post.... First off, dating sites do work. I bashed them in the past...i left i came back i left i came back. But i only intend to leave when it has served the purpose it was intended for....and really that purpose varies depending on who you are. Lets get it straight. You are not i repeat are not going to get replies to half the messages you send. In fact the number might vary from 10% to 35%. I'm being serious. Odds are you will see lots of women that catch your eye. For women i don't know. They rarely seem to hit up anyone first. Okay so now you've got that person to respond. Now the game begins. Will she reply again. ANd if so how soon will it be. This could vary depending on how interested she is. If it takes more than 2 days, move on bruh. And from personal experience getting the number is something that shouldnt be done right away lol. That comes off as weird and too fast. Y

My Thoughts Real Friends

Hey guys, this is Matt the blog master again. Its time for another My Thoughts post. This time i will talking about what makes a good friend, and what doesnt. I have experienced this on both sides of the spectrum... First a Real Friend, A real friend is someone you are comfortable with and that is recipricol with you. You also need to have stuff in common to be a good friend generally. Real friends have your back almost no matter what. I don't have a alot of friends but i have a handfull(or less) of really good ones. I'ma good friend...or at least I'd like to think I am. A bad friend, A bad friend won't hang with you(at all or most of the time). Doesnt like your jokes or is too sensitive. A bad friend will hate on your accomplishments and or relationships. I've experienced different traits from different people. Not to be confused with aquaintances but a bad friend should be avoided and cut off at once.

In Depth Review: Nas' Stillmatic

Nas-Stillmatic In Depth Review Opening Opinion:9.9/10 Nas’s Stillmatic is easily one of my favorite rap albums and perhaps my favorite Nas album. I had the album bootlegged…then well, I lost it, then bought it again years later lol. So what makes this a definitive Nas album? Why do I prefer this over the obviously classic Illmatic. Not only that, but this is also the album that made me a Nasir Jones fan.                 On the title track Nas raps, “Blood of a slave, heart of a King.” The album is off to a good start with the lush beat. Things quickly get hardcore on “Ether”. He goes at Jay-z but odds are you already knew that. The thing that still gets me is how personal and lethal this diss track is. “I been f***ed over, left for dead, dissed and forgotten.” I like the beat too.  Jay-z’s Takeover was like Jay keeping away everyone from his NYC throne. Ether is like him clearly almost getting knocked off of it.                 “Got Ur Self A…” is not the first N

Album Review: Kanye West The Life of Pablo

After waiting over a year…we finally have Kanye’s 7 th solo album! The album, like the first song is nothing that I expected. There’s a big guest list unlike Yeezus and a big list of producers. The production is incredible and fresh. The album also has a lot of change ups. I really like Famous with Rihanna, 30 Hours, No More Parties in LA, and Facts. The album is all over the place but I think it works. It sounds pretty good, there are no songs where I need to skip. The I love Kanye Skit is pretty funny but the Silver Surfer one is worthless, ok I might skip that skit. So I’m pleased with the album but I hope its not his last one. Verdict: 9.6/10 its Kanye duh!

Album Review: Kid Cudi's Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven

Kid Cudi’s 2015 offering isn’t that bad. I was worried that it would  be abysmal but no, it’s an Alternative rock album. The album features some skits here and there by Beavis and Butthead…yeah u read right lol. The album’s production is the best part. Kid Cudi’s singing is pretty average, and the lyrics range from good to just tolerable.  This album is a weird one and it’s a little too long.Cudi b’ses on those last bonus tracks…Fade 2 Red might be my favorite track. I can’t really say its for Cudi fans…no just fans of alternative music. Ok ok if you liked INdicud and the last short album give this one a try. The Verdict: Hmm it passes but barely...7.4/10

Album Review: Ne-Yo In My Own Words

Ne-yo’s first is his best. Ne-Yo shows off his greatest talent here, his songwriting…but don’t get it twisted, he’s a great singer also. I like every song here but not all of them are outstanding. The singles are great, especially Sexy Love and So Sick. Time is a very sad song. There’s a remix of Get Down Like That featuring Ghostface Killah. It Just Ain’t Right is another banger. The production is great here also. Ne-Yo’s sound has changed from this, but I wouldn’t call it a natural progression. In 2015-16 he’s just doing different things. In 2006 however, he was the real deal. The Verdict is a 9.7/10

Album Review: Keyshia Cole Just Like You

A lot can be said about this album. For one it’s Keyshia’s best work to date. The album is filled with memorable tracks like Didn’t I Tell You, Fallin Out, Heaven Sent, and Last Night. The latter is a short version to the P.Diddy song, and I love it. Let It Go is present here as well as a remix to it. Like some other R&B albums I’ve rated this high, the production is solid, but a weak point of the album. Keyshia’s strong vocals and clever lyrics make this a must have for your collection. The Verdict is a 9.7/10

Album Review: Pusha T King Push Darkest Before Dawn

The Verdict: Its a solid 9.6/10 King Push has returned after a very good 2013 outing. This is supposed to be a prequel to the real King Push coming later…but this is a really good album. Lyrically Push is on point as usual. The production is also solid. He’s the new president of GOOD Music, and this album flows well. Its not quite as good as his 2013 album tho. Most songs aren’t excellent, but the biggest thing is the album is just over half an hour. I’d take 2 more songs from Push anyday. The Dream had the best features here…along with Jill Scott.

Album Review N.W.A. Straight Outta Compton

A monumental album in gangsta rap. Its one album I didn’t really want to buy since  my Dad already had the greatest hits, but im glad I bought this. It starts with the well known single, Straight Outta Compton, which is a great track. My personal favorite, F*** the Police, is terrific. Ice Cube sets the stage here and on the whole album. He’s the best rapper in NWA and its obvious. Ren is good too. He gets a couple solo cuts. Eazy-E is dope too here and there. The Dr. Dre and Yella Production is vivid and effective. This is one album you gotta have, plain and simple. The Verdict is a 10/10

Album Reveiw: Rihanna Anti

The Barbadian Princess has returned after a four year drought. This is her 2 nd best album easily. While Loud, Talk That Talk, and Unapologetic were solid; this album has less flaws than those. There are different sounds here too. The first track, Consideration has a reggae feel, as does the song Work with Drake. Woo, the Travi$ Scott produced track is also cool. The real star here is Rih Rih. She’s just great here. Her delivery on these songs is terrific. I haven’t heard her this focused since Good Girl Gone Bad. Anti will go down as a win for Rihanna. I’m glad she didn’t rush the album. Anti will go down as a great great album. Its so varied and so jam packed with different sounds. I think my favorite songs here are “Kiss It Better” , “Sex With Me”, and “Love on the Brain”.   This album is so diverse and proves Rihanna has a plethora of sounds too her music. Overall Rating 97 Grade A+ Lyrics 25 Beats 23 Depth

My THoughts on The Barbadian princess, Rihanna

As you know Robyn(her first name) RIhanna Fenty, just dropped another album. Yes she finally took a break from releasing albums every year....and Anti is really good. I'll review it later. Let me give you my thoughts on her. So it begins in 2005. I heard her debut single Pon De Replay. I thought it was hot...but honestly sounded alot like alot of other 05 songs that came out that summer. Then there was SOS in 2006...great song, i loved it. Then she dropped Unfaithful and I was like wtf. She's crazy for this one is what i thought. Fast forward 1 year, and she drops her best album to date, Good Girl Gone Bad. I didnt get the album until early 2008, but it was clear to me, for really the first time, she was a huge talent. The album seemed to have just hit after hit. I was a huge fan. Then as u know Rihanna gets beat up by her ex Chris Brown. It was savage man. A friend of mine actually met the two and he told sometimes Rihanna could be a b*tch. LOL. But that gave CB no r
