I am a huuuuge Lord of the Rings fan. I just could tell from the previews that was gonna like these movies. It just seemed really cool. I didn't see it until sometime before April 2002. It was very good. I had never read the books but i would read this one and Return of the King years later. Them books are too long. Okay so im not gonna have much info on the movie but Spoilers will be below. BUT HONESTLY, why do I need to say that for a 17 year old movie? I'd like to divide this up into what i Like, and what I didn't or what i think they could improve on. What I Liked The movie starts out with huge flashback battle. Its really well narrated and executed. You see "A last alliance of men and elves" fought to defeat the evil  Sauron and his band of elves. the battle is furious. The fight is won by the good guys. Fab is one of the better East Coast mcs of the 2000s. He came out on September 11 th ,2001 ironically. The production is phenomenal. Lyrically he’s good too. This album doesn’t really sound as dated as you’d think it would. The singles are fire, but there are some other tracks I really like too: Right Now and Later On, Ma’be Easy, Ride For This, and The Bad Guy. Its got the right amount of guest spots too; Ja Rule, Lil Mo’ and Jagged Edge. Overall I’m not really sure Fab has matched this album. I mean maybe lyrically, but certainly not overall.  Verdict: 9.2

Some hail this as Ja Rule’s best album. It’s certainly in the conversation. Ja is having fun here. The singles are really good….and the production is solid. It’s also the album that Ashanti made her debut. Lyrically the album isn’t that bad either. The songs seem to have some great depth too. I’m Real with Jennifer Lopez is dope to this day. She says the n word(I’m pretty sure.) Lol. Never Again is another favorite track of mine. Peep this album mane. Verdict: 8.8/10

I just beat this game for the (i think) 4th time. It is masterful. I'm not going to go through the main points to it and give a score at the end of this review FFX is a Role Playing Game(RPG For short). It's easily my favorite final fantasy game. The HD Version came out in 2014 for PS3 and PS Vita and i bought both versions. I actually have the ps4 version which includes FFX-2 which i will play at a later date. Whats really cool is you can cross save your game date no matter which of the 3 systems you play on. Thats a really nice feature. I actually started on PS3, played most on PSVIta, played some on PS4, and finsished on PSVIta. Okay as for the game, it looks terrific. THe game is cinematic with terrific characters. The heroes are relatable, and the villains are interesting. I'm not going through the story in this blog post, but I have to say it's one of gaming best to date. Nas-Stillmatic In Depth Review Opening Opinion:9.9/10 Nas’s Stillmatic is easily one of my favorite rap albums and perhaps my favorite Nas album. I had the album bootlegged…then well, I lost it, then bought it again years later lol. So what makes this a definitive Nas album? Why do I prefer this over the obviously classic Illmatic. Not only that, but this is also the album that made me a Nasir Jones fan.                 On the title track Nas raps, “Blood of a slave, heart of a King.” The album is off to a good start with the lush beat. Things quickly get hardcore on “Ether”. He goes at Jay-z but odds are you already knew that. The thing that still gets me is how personal and lethal this diss track is. “I been f***ed over, left for dead, dissed and forgotten.” I like the beat too.  Jay-z’s Takeover was like Jay keeping away everyone from his NYC throne. Opening Opinion: 10/10 As you may or may not know, this is, what I consider to be the best rap album of all time. I’ve had this opinion actually for a while now. Let’s get into the review. Jay-z aka Shawn Corey Carter dropped this album back on 9/11/01 a day that lives in infamy. He even brags on the Blueprint 2 that the terrorist attack couldn’t stop this album from being successful. So what really makes this superior to Reasonable Doubt? Let’s go! First there’s the lead single, Izzo (H.O.V.A.) , a great party track that just feels really damn good on the ears you know. The beat is infectious here. It’s one of the things that makes this album so damn good. Jay raps about his come up. Another single, Girls Girls Girls , is a classic. Jay raps about a variety of girls; Young, Project, African,Chinese ,Indian, Model, you name it. The thing is the sample is just beautifully integrated with a laid back beat. In this battle I’ll put Jay-z’s 2 best albums against each other…that’s right: Reasonable Doubt(1996) vs. Blueprint 1(2001). OP Is a tie. Album Reasonable Doubt Blueprint Result Singles B+ A+ BP Lyrics A+ A+ Tie Beats A A+ BP Cohesiveness A+ A+ Tie Legacy A+ A RD Final Result: A close battle. The winner is the 1 st Blueprint. The two albums tied in lyrics and Cohesiveness. However I felt BP’s beats are flawless, while some on RD aren’t as stellar….even considering the time difference. RD did have more of a legacy than BP1.

This posthumous albums isn’t one of Pac’s best, but its not that bad. One of the biggest problems is it’s a double disc, which unfortunately correlates to quite a bit of filler. However there are some good songs scattered here and there. Until the End of Time and its Remix are the best here. Some of the songs are similar across the 2 discs. Overall lyrically the album is great, but the beats are only ok. There isn’t a lot of replayability in my opinion but this album is a good addition to Pac’s discography. The final verdict on this album is 7.75/10. Its decent but far from perfect.

A lot can be said about Stillmatic. Its arguably Nas’ most versatile album. He touches on a lot of topics, and most every song is very thoughtful. The album starts off well, with a stellar intro. Then he wastes no time slaying Jay-z with Ether, the nastiest diss track I’ve ever heard. Got Yourself a Gun and One Mic are incredible songs. My Country and What Goes Around are great conscious songs. Rewind is also very creative. Braveheart Party isn’t that good, its very very poor. However 1 bad song isn’t enough to weigh down the depth of the album. There’s not many guest spots either. Overall it’s a must have for any rap fan. Nas knew he would have to come back hard in 2001 and he did just that. Overall Rating 99(One of rap’s gems) Lyrics 25 Beats 24 Depth 25 Tilt 25
