good Kid m.A.A.D. city Review Two-Track by Track

Kendrick Lamar Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City[Deluxe Edition] Album Review Seeing is this is the rap album of the year[2012], it was only tradition that I do a track by track breakdown of this work of art.     Sherane a.k.a. Master Splinter’s Daughter- The album starts with the “homies” & Kendrick Lamar giving their lives over to Jesus threw prayer. This part of the story is revealed later in the album. This song is pretty good.   Kdot talks about him being seduced by a gurl named Sherane. The song ends with Lamar’s mom and dad calling his voicemail. The album is off to a good start. 8.5/10 B*Tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe- This song has a pretty mellow feel to it. However Kendrik raps pretty well on it. “I am a sinner and I’m prolly gonna sin again” goes the chorus. The female voice on the chorus makes this track a winner. 8.5/10   Backseat Freestyle- This isn’t relevant to the album’s story, but this is one hot freestyle. Kendrick raps about wanting a d**k

Video Game Blog: FPS's vs. RPGs

It's been a while since i've done a video game blog but here it goes. Black Ops II seems to represent why i love First Person shooters. Its action packed, and isnt hard to get into. I have absolutely loved the COD series ever since CoD MW2.  Its not the only FPS i've played since getting my PS3. I have also really enjoyed Killzone 2 and 3 and Resistance 1 and 2. I liked Killzone alot more than Resistance though. The online play for most of these games has been simply extradinary! Ah yes the Role Playing Games. I used to be a huge RPG fan ....and well to some degree I still am. I have really gotten into Mass Effect 3 and 2 this year. Those games are really dope. Not dope meaning dope but dope meaning DOPE. However Final Fantasy is the RPG that really got me into the genre. But the Final Fantasy games have been goin downhill like nobodies business....I think FFX was a classic, and FFXII was decent.....but FF 13 was a crime aagaisnt humantity. Sure it looked great...b

Jay-z's The BLack Album Review

I’m going to make a bold statement; This is the last album Jay-z should of made. I say this because its not only a classic, but it proves Jay didn’t need another rapper to spit a verse, while keeping your attention. Jay went to different producers for different sounds like Timbaland, Kanye West, 9 th Wonder, and even Eminem. The result is an album that is almost flawless. My favorite song is Dirt Off Your Shoulder, although many may claim 99 Probs is a better track. You already know the lyrics are on point, and the beats are stellar, and the album doesn’t get old, even after many listens. The only flaw is some of the songs are a little overshadowed by some of the better ones. Jay-z was on top when he made this, and you could argue he’s still on top now, but in late 2003 there was no argument. Overall i give this album a 9.9/10. Its just one of those really special rap albums!

List of my favorite rappers by year

2000 : Jay-z- Jigga was my favorite rapper when I first getting into rap. Songs like Big Pimpin and Hard Knock life were some of my favorite songs by Jay-z. I really liked Eminem around this time, who had also burst on the scene around 2000. I wasn’t that heavy into rap yet, but I really liked Outkast as well.     2001 : Ludacris- Around the end of the year I bought my first album, Word of Mouf by Ludacris. The album was a favorite of mine. I remember listening to it a WHOLE LOT. I started liking a whole lot of rappers like Fabolous, Bubba Sparxxx, and others. Word of Mouf is still in my top 5 rap albums ever.     2002 : Eminem- The great white MC was without question my favorite rapper at this time. Not only was his Eminem Show in heavy rotation, but the songs from his movie 8 Mile were good. Most notably the incredible Loose Yourself. I also started listening to Nas’s Stillmatic a lot around this time   2003: 50 Cent- 03’ belonged to 50 Cent. A lot

Frank Ocean's channel Orange Review

Frank Ocean’s debut   is a refreshing R&B listen. He is very good at painting a picture with his elegant vocals. Pyramids is a long song, but perhaps the best on the album. Lost and Thinking About You are also very good. Forest Gump is supposedly written from the point of view of a female cheerleader, but I think it was Frank’s attempt at hiding his bisexuality. Pink Matter is a slow but effective song. While Monks and Bad Religion are also standouts. The album’s beats are good, but not quite perfect. This album could have used maybe one or more guest spots. However it’s clear that Frank Ocean keeps the spotlight on the album. This album has a lot of replay value as well .I don’t really think that he can’t top this stellar album. Overall, i give mr. Oceania (lol) a 9.5/10......its just that damn good.

Eminem's The Eminem Show Review

Eminem’s 3 rd album is a great addition to his catalogue. Its not as good as Marshall Mathers LP, but it has its moments. The album has no poor songs, but theres undeniable filler and Halie’s song is too sappy.   Of course Without Me is every bit as good as TRSS from MMLP and Till I Collapse stands as one of his best songs. He often raps with a flow that only Nas and Jay-z could rival.   The beats are also stellar, in fact it has the best beats of any Eminem album to date. The album is very entertaining, and is sure to be please Eminem fans, and gain him new ones. Overall i give this album 9/10. Its Shady!

"Barry O" ahem President Obama

Let me just say first off that I am big supporter of President Obama. The first black pres. Isnt doing too bad in my opinion. President G DUBYA really messed this country up imo. We had no business being in IRAQ...waste of time, soldiers, and $$$. I am not going to go off and rant about that though.   Obama's story as President has been one of overcoming adversity. People(mostly white) have had incredible amount of disrespect towards him. Its because hes black.....people may have joked G Dubya Bush, but no President of the good ol United States has gotten so much criticism. Despite the critiscim and Romney's viscioius attacks, Barry O has secured a 2nd term. I live in a swing state was very suprised that my state went Obamaaaaaa! What will the future hold? I'm not sure but it will be rough for AMerica with Iran threatening to nuke Israel. Im assuming that Bin Laden's group AL KAEDA (lol) is done for good. Even with that i dont see America's troops coming back

Lady Gaga's Born This Way Review

Lady Gaga’s 3 rd album is a work of art. It’s extremely varied, however the album has a good amount of cohesiveness. Gaga has vocal dexterity that puts some Pop artists to shame(not going to name names). She seems to have to really fine tuned her sound. She gives inspiration on Born this Way. Judas and Bloody Mary are pretty controversial   songs.   She speaks german on SheiBe , and   closes the album with a bang with The Edge of Glory. Overall this album should silence critics that may say Gaga couldn’t relase another hot album   with all new songs. Government Hooker is my favorite song on the album     Ima give this album 9.5/10 which is pretty damn high. There are only a couple of songs i dont really care that much for, but the rest of the album is amazing

Top Rappers of 2012: 2nd Edition(The Much Anticipated Sequel)

This is a list of rappers who I feel are the best right now, not all time. It’s mostly based on albums and songs from 2011-2012. Here’s the top 20 Top Rappers 2012 2 nd Edition *Eminem and Royce Da 5’9 are combined into Bad Meets Evil *Outkast didn’t have an album this year yet so they aren’t included.   1.       Nas(19)- Nasty Nas is finally on top. He’s jumped 18 spots mostly due to the fact he hadn’t done much in the 2010-2011 time frame. Life is Good is a stellar album that I didn’t think would be that good. Nas feels he still has something to prove…and maybe he does. “When you become better than legends you thought were the greatest”, raps Nas. Not only that, he’s had some good guest features as well like on Tha Carter IV and The Dreamer/The Believer , and   Pink Friday Roman Reloaded. When its all said and done Nas may be known as the best rapper ever. 2.       Lupe Fiasco(14)- I am incredibly proud of Lupe Fiasco. The Chai town mc released a great
