My Favorite Rappers Ever(as of 2014)

1.       Kanye West- Can he get much higher? Not really. Kanye is the most versatile rapper ever, bar none. Sure some of it has to do with him being a producer first. But lyrically he just got better and better(Until Yeezus). I like how Kanye has changed his image after virtually every album he’s made. On College Dropout he was a great backpack rapper, on Late Registration it was more of that. On Graduation he was this superstar rapper. On 808s he was an emo ni**a lol. On MBDTF he was a larger than rap rapper. On Yeezus he was a self-proclaimed Rap God. Unlike Jay-z, I feel Kanye still has to prove some doubters wrong. When its all said and done Kanye will be a top rapper on everyones list. 2.       Eminem- The great white rapper is a like a great white shark on the mic. Em is kind of like 2pac, but much goofier or much more violent at other times. Em almost had the #1 spot. I really like how he uses his sense of humor even with the most insane or offensive punchlines. I feel Em is

My Favorite Contemporary R&B Singers

1.       Trey Songz(4)- Trigga Trey finally topped my list. He was in the top 5 last time. He is incredibly consistent, and he knows how to make hits. Slow jamz, club bangers, u name it. I really didn’t think he had it in him, but Trigga is a borderline classic album. That’s 6 albums, with 3 or 4 being great.   2.       Janelle Monae(11)- Coming in at #2 is Janelle aka Cyndi Mayweather.   I predicted on the 2012 list that she’d be in my top 5, and there you go. She’s the most creative artist on the list by far. Electic Lady was right up there with any R&B album released in 2013. 3.       Beyoncé(6) – B is back and better than ever. Her self titled album came out of nowhere and it was a borderline classic. It wasn’t quite as good as B’day, but it was a major improvement over 4. Beyonce remains a force to be reckoned with. I don’t know if she can stay in the top 5 but all the evidence would say she can. 4.       Usher(1)- Ursher’s fallen back a lil bit from the top spo

Favorite Pop Singers

This blog is overdue. I promised I'd make it, and here it is. No, the great Michael Jackson is not included cause he would be #1, MJ is the G.O.A.T., so when u don't see him on my list don't panic...don't hate...just enjoy. 5) Katy Perry-Katy would be higher on this list, but I wasn’t really feeling her latest album, Prism, all that much. Teenage Dream, on the other hand is a classic. I really like Katy’s style. I liked as soon as I heard a couple singles on the first album(Yeah she kissed a girl etc.). I didn’t really get into her until TD though. 4) Jennifer Lopez- I’ve been a big Jlo fan for a while. Im not really a fan of her albums as a hole, but she’s got lots of hits. If You Had My Love is one of my favorite songs period. Her latest album A.K.A. is decent as well. 3) Lady Gaga- Gaga may be weird but that really brings personality to her music. It all started back with the song Pokerface. Before that I didn’t really think much of Gaga. I still

The Top 5 Worst Rap Albums I've Ever Heard

5) Souljaboy-Souljaboytellem.com- This album had some good songs on it. Overall I think it kind of embodied the dance-rap genre. I dont mind dance rap, but alot of these songs are mindless. 4) French Montana-Excuse My French-Make no mistake this album is horrible. The production is good, but French cant rap for s***!!! I like a few songs but not many.... 3) Swizz Beatz-Great beats, but bad lyricism.... 2)Future-I had to really grit my teeth at this album. He can barely sing.....but there are some good songs up here. 1) Shawty Lo-WORST F'n Album ever!!! AVOID IT. DUn dun dun lol

My Top Video Games of all time

I've done plenty of music lists, so i think its time to pay homage to my top video games of all time. I'm only going to mention games i've played. So, if a game you like is not up here(which I guarantee a few wont be) let me know. Lets get into it.... 1)       The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time- I have praised this game so many times, and it’s all well deserved. Ocarina has great controls and the graphics were nice at the time. I really love the story, and how the game is paced. You do a side quest of some kind, which generally isn’t long, then you go to a dungeon, get an item, use that item to get further in the dungeon, then beat the boss. Ocarina is, the best Zelda, and as of right now I don’t think that’s up for discussion. There are some really good Zelda games though such as Wind Waker, ALTTP(which made my list), and some others. 2)       Final Fantasy X- Final Fantasy X….is the only FF I’ve beaten, and I’ve played FF7, FF3(for the DS), FF12, and FF13.

Common's Nobody's Smiling Album Review

While not his most creative album, Nobody’s Smiling delievers on so many levels. I liked every song here, even the bonus tracks. NoID did a great job with the production on this record. I really like the features Common has which include Jhene AIko, Big Sean, Vince Staples, and more guests. The album has good construction and a great song that is about J Dilla at the end. Overall its very clear that Common is Chi town’s Nas. This is a great outing for the aging rapper. The verdict is a 9.5/10
