My heart was heavy when I heard the news this past Sunday. Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna died in a helicopter crash yesterday. My condolences to the Bryant family, NBA family, and the other victim's families. The news was just almost unreal and horribly saddening. Kobe was my favorite player in the NBA... easily. I remember seeing his games with Shaq and seeing him win 3 championships back to back. I truly became a Laker fan when I saw him loose in the 2008 Finals to the Boston Celtics. I felt sorry for Kobe honestly. It made me root for him and then I saw him win a title without Shaq and then another title without Shaq. The last one over the Boston Celtics at that. And who could forget his last game where he scored 60 against the Utah Jazz to close out that season. I'm also forgetting the 81 point game he had in 2006. I know this is a celebrity death but Kobe was like a hero to me. I saw him hit so many big shots and play in so many big games. I gotta mention the...

    10) Lebron James - The chosen one is easily an all time great. But lets not put him in the top 5 yet. I do believe when LBJ retires he’ll be top….5 maybe top 3. He’s so decorated already…4 MVps, 3 finals MVPs….a scoring title. But Bron is a dynamo. He’s even added a halfway decent jumper these days. He is a terrific playmaker…and not afraid to show some killer instinct.     9) Tim Duncan- The big fundamental is the model for a big man. He could post up, get rebounds, block shots and shoot a reliable midrange jumper. Duncan had no flaws in his game…but his stats are not the most impressive among other all time greats. I chose Timmy over Hakeem the Dream because of the 5 rings….that’s about all.   8) Kobe Bryant -The black Mamba is my favorite player of all time. Before that it was Pippen lol. Yeah I liked Scotty lol. But Kobe is perhaps the most motivated nba player of all time. His game was flawless. He had masterful footwork, a deadly midrange shot...

It's time for another edition of My Thoughts! In this edition, I will giving my two cents on this argument....Michael Jordan vs. Lebron James!My favorite player is Kobe, I'm not going to try and show favrotism nor will I just look at stats or as I feel stats are only part of the story. Did you notice Lebron James looks up to Michael Jordan? I mean why not? Michael is the G.O.A.T. (Right now and maybe forever). I mean He had #23 then he changed it to #6, now its back to #23! MJ wore 23 for most of his career. Imitation is a form of flattery. However I think Lebron is not like Kobe. Kobe said i'm going to be like Michael Jordan. I'm going to steal his moves. I'm going to be great Lebron has said that he's chasing MJ and wants to be known as the greatest player in history. My favorite NBA Playoff Series of the last 7 years- these are not in order, the order doesn’t matter, but these are my picks. Lakers vs. Celtics 10 -This was a revenge series for the Lakers. They had to prove that they could beat the Celtics, the last team that defeated them in the postseason.     .The 08 finals is what made me a Laker fan for life . Go Lakers Go! Lakeshow! Spurs vs. Hornets 10 - This was an entertaining series….I wanted the Hornets to win, but ah well. CP3 and Tony Paker was a great matchup. Heat vs. Mavericks 06- This was a really cool series for me. I was pissed that the spurs lost to the mavs. The Mavs won 2 in a row, and everybody thought the Heat were done. Then Miami won a couple games…then they won again. Then they finally won in Dallas …..the Heat weren’t really underdogs but they said to themselves “we are a team, and we not gonna let the Detroit Pistons, or any other team with a better record beat us”.
