Biggie Small's Life After Death Review

The 2 nd album by NY’s Greatest rapper of all time, isn’t far behind the 1 st one. There is filler, but the filler is really good. I feel that Biggie spoke of death a little too much but then again, being the true King of NY. He dominates with a flow and delivery that is unrivaled by any rapper dead or alive. Overall I think he was not in his prime when he made this album. It’s sad when a young supremely talented rapper dies. The album is filled with great songs. Some sound similar but I will call that cohesiveness. If it weren’t for a few songs this would be just as good as Ready to Die. Overall I give this album 9.5/10. Its a groundbreaking Eas Coast Rap album. Sippin on booz in the house of blues....BIGGIE!

Cruel Summer Review

Kanye West & G.O.O.D. Music Cruel Summer Track by Track Review   To the World- “ R.Kelly and the God of Rap sh**in on you, Holy crap,” raps Kanye on this first track. It’s really catchy. Teyana Taylor does a nice job also. This song is a decent opener. 8.5/10   Clique- This is one of my favorite songs on the album. It’s even better than 3 Kings from the Rick Ross album in my opinion. Big Sean goes first and raps over this dope and dark beat. Jay-z is the star of this song. I haven’t heard him rap this hard since Blueprint 3. Kanye finishes up the song with a cool verse. 9.5/10   Mercy- The lead single is pretty interesting. There’s a lot of different elements here that make it more than just another rap song with more than 3 rappers on it. Big Sean goes first and does a good job with lines like “Ass-State” & “Ass-quake” lol. Then Pusha T goes next with a hot verse….he uses “Ho” a lot. Then Kanye steals the show with an exciting change of the bea

Ushers Lookin 4 Myself Review

Usher comes back with an even better album than his 2010 album Raymond vs. Raymond. The album has some pretty simple subjects but the songs are all really well executed. The album starts off with 2 similar songs in Scream and Can’t Stop Won’t Stop. Climax is one of the only really sad songs, but it’s one of Usher’s best. The album has some really nice production, but nothing above R v R. This album is filled with mostly good carefree songs, while some like Lessons for the Lover and the album title track are very emotional. Euphoria is a great song to end the album .This album was better than I expected and it’s great to see Ursher in great form like this. Overall i feel this album gets a 9.25/10. Its a great album but not all that innovative. Ursher baby! lol

Melanie Fiona's The MF Life Review

Before i give u a review of Usher, Frank Ocean, or Trey Songz new albums, i thought i'd review what i think, to be the R&B album of the year. I hadn’t really heard of Melanie before 2012, but this is one incredible album. Its mostly about heart break and lessons of love. Melanie drives the songs with her powerful, yet elegant singing. Every song is good, but some songs sound a little too similar, but make no mistake the cohesiveness of this album is great. Each guest spot is well used. She is joined by Nas, B.o.B., J.Cole(who opens quite a few R&B albums not just this one) and John Legend. Overall I think Melanie still has some potential to continue to make great albums.   Overall i give this album a 9.5/10. Its just that good.

Slaughterhouse Welcome to Our House Review

This is one well made album from perhaps rap’s best group right now. It reminds me of the D-12 albums…but its much better. The Mcs of the slaughterhouse are very good lyricists, especially Royce da 5’9 and Joe Budden. This album isn’t as hardcrore as the D-12 albums, in fact there’s a lot of songs with commercial appeal. This album is very well put together. Eminem, Skylar Grey,Cee Lo Green, and Busta Rhymes all make guest appearances but they never really steal the spotlight from Slaughterhouse. I really want to hear their first album after hearing this. SLAUGHTER-HOUSE!! I give this album 9.25/10, its very tight, with little flaws at all.

2 Chainz Based on a T.R.U. Story reviw

2 Chainz was once known as Tity boi of Playaz circle…now he has released a solo album. It’s not very good, mostly due to his lack of lyricism. He relies on his delivery to carry a song. The album has mostly well used guest spots but it’s just not enough to really carry   the the whole album. I’ve heard worse albums, but then again for a debut this isn’t too bad. 2 Chainz subject matter is nothin special but again his delivery is good. I didn’t even know he was Tity Boi till this year lol. I give this album 6.5/10....its very flawed but it isnt horrible. YEAAAAH

The Best Rappers Ever List

The Best Rappers Ever This is my list of my top rappers ever, I’m not trying to please anyone with this list: I’m not going to put any rappers on my list if I haven’t really heard their stuff. Yo enjoy the list & leave a comment.         20) Snoop Dogg- Snoop is a decent rapper but I feel he should be no higher on this list. He literally talks about the same thing(s) on every album. Snoop is here mostly for longevity in the game. It also doesn’t hurt that he has a lot of hits. His first album was a classic(Doggystyle) and he’s made some good ones since then but not many have come close to that. I’m not sure what my favorite song by him is. Snoop may be washed up now but he is one of Rap’s greats.   19) DMX- The Darkman X makes the list. People forget just how good this guy was. DMX was the flagship artist for the Ruff Ryders label. I really like X’s delivery and flow. He’s had his share of good albums, although he hasn’t released a great album in a

Big K.R.I.T.'s 4 Eva N Day Review

I hadn’t heard much of Big K.R.I.T. but this is an exceptional dirty south album. BK(my abbreviation) is a good lyricist and he paints many pictures with his rhymes. The album has a really nice laid back feel to it. The album title track is the catchiest song….but theres really no song here which I felt I needed to skip, hence there is a lot of cohesiveness and depth to this album. I really have no complaints on this album except that some songs are hard to distinguish from others but   overall this album gets it done.   Overall i give this album 8.75/10. Its really good ya dig

B.o.B.'s Strange Clouds Review

B.o.B. returns with another good album. This time around it seems like he’s feeling himself (too much) opposed to on his first album when he was humble and easier to connect to. This album has some real good songs like Ray Bands, Bombs Away, Arena, and a personal favorite Out of My Mind with Nicki Minaj. This album has no real weaknesses, but B.o.B is a real weird rapper…..kind of like Kid Cudi who I consider a similar aritist. It’s almost like B.o.B. wanted to make an album to please everyone and for the most part that mission was accomplished but songs like Just a Sign are borderline boring. Overall I   would say this album is proof that he is not a fluke and he is an excellent complement to Grand Hustle records to T.I. I'm going to give B.o.B. a 8.5/10. The album is good but falls a tad bit short of his debut album.
