This new Mackelmore makes me forget how much I almost disliked The Heist. This album really showcases Mackelmore’s storytelling skills.The production is great also. The album gets off to a great start with Light Tunnels. Downtown is a certified banger, as is the hilarious Brad Pitt’s Cousin. The album gets bubble gummy and sweet, but its tolerable here like on Growing Up and Kevin. The only songs I wasn’t feeling that much were the last 2. It’s a terrific pop rap album. Ah G-Eazy…hes another white rapper. This guy reminds me of Mackelmore…but he might be slightly better than that Pop Rapper. The album doesn’t sound dark at all. It’s got some variety here, and fresh beats. G-Eazy isn’t that bad on the mic either, even if he’s rarely rapping of anything of substance. Overall I’d say this album is a win. It grew on me lol. “B*Tch U got me f***ed up” raps G-Eazy, and yeah I did… The Verdict: 8.7/10!

will.i.am’s latest isn’t a good album. The beats aren’t even all that to help the listen. There are some highlights here, but just like 2 Chainz album last year, an allstar cast isn’t enough to get this album a 7/10 from me. However I know that Will was going for a pop sound, especially when you recruit Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, and Miley Cyrus. There are other guests as well, but this album just sounds half assed. Well to be honest this isn't a good album, but its not horrible either. I give it a 6.75/10
