50 Cent's Discography

Animal Ambition: This album is by far 50’s worst. There’s not really any terrific songs, but there are some good ones like Animal Ambition, Flip On You, and Pilot. However he caters to the ladies far too much in the middle of the album. Maybe  he was making up for the lack of lady friendly songs on Before I Self Destruct. C- Before I Self Destruct: Fitty’s 4 th album is pretty damn good. He sounds very focused lyrically on it. The album has some quality songs like Baby By Me and Do You Think About Me. Those are the only lady friendly songs. The album is still high  quality. There’s not many guest spots either. Check out the excellent bonus track Flight 187. B- Curtis : The 3 rd album from 50 Cent is good, but you cant help but feel like he’s lost a lot of his ambition that made him great. However the album has some gems on it. However only 2 songs, “Ayo Technology” and “I Get Money” feel on par with 50’s usual standards for a hit. The album is hit or miss, well mostl

My Thoughts-Kendrick Kenny-K.Dot Lamar

I was going to give you my thoughts on Kanye, but I decided to do this post first. Kendrick is basically a breath of fresh air to a oversaturated, watered down rap industry. I remember in 2011 when Section 80 came out. I listened to it around that time, and did like it, but I didn't think K.dot was all that.  Things would change dramatically later. in 2012 i heard the single the Recipe. It was a simple track with Dr. Dre, but it was really catchy. When Good Kid Maad City came out, i was floored. Kendrick's lyrics and delivery were really on point. It was the creativity tho, that really shined. I was hooked. in 2015 i was pretty impressed with To Pimp a Butterfly, even if it was a slight step down from Good Kid Maad City. Going forward i think Kendrick will do fine. He's gotten past the sophmore jinx and he will continue to make good music. WEST COAST! #Pac'ssuccessor ?

My favorite First Person SHooters of ALllll tiiiime

Okay disclaimer time, I apologize that I havent played much of Halo, Gears of War, and whatever else you claim deserved to be on my list. Also this is a FPS list, meaning FIRST person only. I might make a list of third person shooters as there are a bunch of them...lets get into my picks 5) Goldeneye- A mostly nostalgic pick for me. Goldenye 007 was the game that started the multiplayer mayhem. The game was so much fun to play solo as well, especially with the codes. The cons are the game controls horribly compared to modern shooters. You have to stand still to aim and fire…I haven’t played the Wii Remake though. 4) Call of Duty Black Ops-IT was between this and COD Ghosts believe it or not. I felt Ghosts single player was lame, while Black Ops has one of COD’s best campaigns. BO1 is a made up of mixed up missions across different places in the cold war. The multiplayer is lazy though. 3) Resistance 2-I had to pick R2 over the first one. R2 was bigger and felt more engaging

Album Review: Tyler's Cherry Bomb

Tyler’s 4 th solo work(3 rd actual album) is really good. Its not a bunch of horrocore like his last albums have been(Even though Wolf wasn’t heavy with it.) The first track, Deathcamp, sounds like a Neptune track. It kind of sets the tone for the album. Yes it sounds a bit odd, but the production is some of the best I’ve heard on any album. The lyrics are good across the album, but some songs, like CherryBomb, have toned down lyrics, as in you can’t really hear Tyler as he throws a temper tantrum lol. Anyway the album also features Kanye and Lil Wayne on the song Smuckers. It’s a nice surprise. Tyler has matured(at least I think he has) and made the best album of his career. The verdict is a 9.25/10

Album Review: Yelawolf Love Story

- The new Yelawolf album is a weird one. It’s like Yelawolf just wanted to make any kind of album…so the result is what sounds like a Country rap album, not a rap album with a country feel like Radioactive. He sings, and he sings a lot. Some of it is good however, but its his rapping and delivery which saves the album. Another issue with this album is the lack of guest spots. Eminem shows up for a great track, Best Friend. But that’s really it. This is not a bad album, but it wasn’t what I was expecting. At least Yela isn’t afraid to change things up. The verdict is well 8.25/10 . The wolf is quite tamed.

AR: Fabolous The Young OG Project

Fabolous has returned with one of his best albums yet. Its very well rounded with great lines from Fab and good beats. Theres not a lot of guests either, but there’s Chris Brown, French Montana, and even Kevin Hart. There’s nothing really new here, but many of the beats I’ve heard elsewhere but they’re good. The replay-ability is high here. It’s a good album, but at this point in his career I’m not sure the NY rapper can make a solid 9/10 album. This will do though. The verdict: 8.75/10. LOSO!

My Thoughts-Michael Jackson:King Of Pop

I suddenly felt like blogging about one of my favorite artists. MJ is arguably the greatest entertainer of them all. He's got hits...lots of hits. My favorites are Billie Jean, Thriller, Beat It, Remember the Time....the list goes on and on. Even as a toddler I loved the dudes music. Its just some of the best music period. In summer 2009 i learned of his death like i'm sure you did. I was cryiug. I couldn't believe it. But of course the legacy lives on. MJ like anyone had personal problems. The kids...he supposedly molested, and him always changing his appearance. But come on. This guy just appeared at a concert outside of the US, and the crowd went nuts. He literally just stood there. So yeah MJ was weird but he was the entertainment king gosh darn it!

Black Lives Matter

Hey guys. This isn't an entertainment post. This is a real world post. As you know there have been a lot of black men getting killed by local law enforcement aka police. Well even The Trayvon Martin case was a travesty. G.Z. should be guilty....but these recent killings by police are just really saddening. Its to the point now that if u get into with the police, you'd better do what they say...or..... In the past, like early in our nation's history blacks could be lynched or killed with no real legal backlash. That was largely due to people being regarded as chattel or not human. Or not fully human. Look up the 3/5 compromise, which was utterly ridiculous. Anyways i hope this police brutality stops. I hope racism is fought against. I dont think it will ever fully go away. Not in America....

My Thoughts-The Notorious B.I.G.

Hey y'all. If you read my 2pac (MT) blog post then you knew this one was coming. When i was a kid I liked Biggie's commercial songs like Big Poppa and Hypnotize. In 2005 however I was able to get a hold of my fathers' BIggie albums. Turns out he had them all. I started with Ready to Die. And it was a classic, easily. Christopher Wallace's storytelling, flow, and delivery were top notch. Juicy was my favorite song on the album. Later I would listen to Life After Death and was very impressed. Born Again wasnt enough Biggie.....so i dont really count that one. P.Diddy aka Diddy aka Puff Daddy hit the jackpot with Biggie Smalls. I truly believe he was ahead of his time. I wonder how good he would be if he were still alive today. I actually prefer him over Pac, but ironically i wont argue with you if you say Pac is the better the rapper.

My Thoughts- J.Cole :The Incredibly Varied Rapper

Hey y'all. This will be my first post for the month  of May. I got a lot of new music, and i will be reviewing it down the line. J.Cole is a really dope rapper. I gotta admit I heard him on some features back in 2008 and 2009, and well even 2010: and i wasn't very impressed. He just didnt seem to stand out to me. Things would change in 2010 when he dropped the single Who Dat. However that was just one track...Then his debut album came out, Cold World, the SIdeline story in 2011. I liked it, but again it wasnt really all that to me. I'd say it was aboiut as good as Drake's debut Thank Me Later, to give you a comparison. The thing is J.Cole is a lyricist. He reminds me of Jay-z and Nas put together...I'm not saying he's as good as those 2, but that's how his style seems to be. So 2 years ago by, and then J.Cole drops Born Sinner. I got it the day it came out I think. It came out the same day as Kanye West's Yeezus album, and honestly it was better. C
