Album Review: Big Krit's Cadalactica

This may be only BK’s 2 nd commercial album, but its obvious he’s a veteran. Big K.R.I.T. might make some of the smoothest sounding rap music ever. The weakest thing about the album is some songs are really similar, but if you look deeper its hardly accurate. He reminds me of Big Boi mixed with someone else. I think this is KRIT’s best work to date. There are so many good songs. Some guests include E-40, Bun B, Lupe Fiasco, and A$AP Ferg.If you don’t like dirty south rap you probably won’t care much for this….but its one of the best albums of the year. Final Verdict: 9.6/10

Eminem's Discography

In honor of Eminem releasing SHady XV album this month, I've decided to give you his albums in order from 2013-1999. Its SHADYYYY! The Marshall Mathers LP 2 : This is Eminem’s 2 nd best album. Its about 100 minutes with the bonus tracks included, but rarely does it let it up. It may be Em at his most complex, as he raps about the same things but in a much different way. The only guest rapper is Kendrick Lamar. There’s a lot of guests though. There’s an ode to his mother Headlights which is a really nice song. Then there’s Rap God where he shows off his lyricism. Berserk is just fun, while Survival and A**hole are also bangers. He doesn’t really diss anyone until Evil Twin where he talks about Sarah Palin among others. He even makes a follow up to his hit song Stan in Bad Guy. A   Recovery:   This album features Em at his lyrical best. I’m not sure if he felt he could do better and he needed to step it up, or if he was off the drugs…but this album is really good.

Album Review: CHris Brown's X

I’m not really a big Chris Brown fan, but this album delivers. Its just better than his Fortune album. My complaints are theres a few too many songs, but most are really good. CB sounds rejuvenated, and there’s a nice guest list which includes: Trey Songz, Usher, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne,Jhene AIko ,and Nicki Minaj. Its not his best album, but its not far behind. I found this one even more engaging than his F.A.M.E. album. There’s not much CB has to prove musically. I hope he continues to make hit albums. The final verdict is a 9/10

My favorite Video Game Series

Hey y'all. Ive been slacking on the blogging and for that i apologize. Here are my favorite video game series....so far. This is not an easy list to make. Each of the game series' below have good and not so good games in them. I'llk talk about them and give 3 of my favorite games in the seriies. 1) Mario - Mario has to take the top honors here. I have loved Mario games since I was 6 years old. Mario is without a doubt the king of video games. He does it all. He rescues Princess Peach, he parties, races go karts, and some other things. Mario games are not easy. They just start out that way. My favorite Mario games ...well its hard to pick just three but I like Super Mario 64, New Super Mario Bros.(DS version), and Mario Kart 8. 2) Zelda -Zelda takes 2nd place, but not easily. I also played Zelda at the young age of 6. I thought it was cool, but Zelda 1 was tough, and Zelda 2 was almost unplayable for me. I fell in love with other Zelda releases. I have never played a

Album Review: Logic's Under Pressure

Logic is a really interesting rapper. The dope lyricist with the razor sharp flow has a very creative debut.   Logic reminds me of Kendrick mixed with Drake. He has a nice smooth delivery. The album is filled with bangers, with the first song being the worst. The album features nice production from No ID. There’s even a woman doing some narration on some tracks. Its just an incredible mainstream debut. I think Logic is the next great rapper. There’s nothing that feels forced or really out of wack here. My favorite songs are Under Pressure, Soul Food, Never Enough, and Gang related. Final Score: 8.75/10 2nd Opinon: 9.5/10 (old System)

Album Review: T.I.'s Paperwork

T.I.’s ninth album is an improvement over 2012’s Trouble Man. T.I. sounds as focused as ever, but the album isn’t the most cohesive. The best song is New National Anthem with Skylar Grey in which TI talks about the violence against black men in America. Pharell produces a lot of the tracks, and production wise the album is great. The bonus tracks are decent but ultimately im glad they are bonus tracks. The album has a lot of guests including Usher, Young Jeezy, Young Thug, Iggy Azalea, Chris Brown, and the Dream.TI even raps about another friend of his that passed way .The album is not as good as Paper Trail, but ultimately it’s a great album, and a worthy successor. Final verdict: 9/10. Its the king b*tch!
