S1)Jay Z vs S5)Kid Cudi: It wont be easy but I think Jay will win by a at least 30 points! Flow: I like Cudi’s flow, but Jay has arguably the best flow in any bracket….(10-0) Creativity: Kid Cudi gets a slight nod here. He’s incredibly creative. (10-10) Storytelling: Jay wins here. It’s not really that close….at all. (20-10) Impact: I’d like to tell you it’s close, but nah. Jigga wins by a mile. (30-10) Collaboration: Tie. I know sounds nuts, but Kid Cudi does well on any feature too. (35-15) Versatility: Tie. Both rappers are really really versatile. Jay can make any kind of song, but so can Cudi. (40-20) Albums: Do I need to go into this? No I don’t! Jay wins this cat. Too. (50-20) Commercial Success: Its not really close. Jay wins again mane. (60-20) Jay Z wins here with a wopping 60 points. Predator is yet another great Ice Cube album. He talks about a lot of what he did on his first 2 albums. Cube raps about the injustices against the black community in America. Cube proves to be a great storyteller. I feel the skits kind of break up the album’s rhythm a little bit, but otherwise the album is really deep. Dirty Mack, It Was a Good Day, and The Predator are some dope songs. Ultimately this is a must have album, but it’s easy to see that Cube was running out of things to rap about. 9.3/10

4)Ice Cube vs. 5)2pac 4 th seed Ice Cube: In Round 1 Defeated Eazy E 5-1, In R2 he beat Schoolboy Q 5-2, He beat Dr. Dre 4-2. 5 th seed 2pac: In Round 1 defeated Jay Rock 4-2, he beat Kendrick Lamar 4-3, and The Game 4-3. Flow: It’s a tie. Both rappers are legendary….1-1 Delivery: Hmm Cube and Pac attack each beat when they want to, but Pac seems just a little more versatile in that regard. 1-2 Albums: Ice Cube wins by  hair. He’s got 2 classics and some other great albums, while some of Pac’s posthumous works counts against him(while it didn’t count againt Biggie). 2-2 Story: Another tie folks. Ice Cube could really story tell, especially early Ice Cube. Pac is known for that as well…..so yeah 3-3. Legacy: Another tie breaker based on Legacy. While I love Cube’s legacy, he’s known more for being an actor than a rapper. So yeah Pac wins this category. 2pac wins 4-3              ...

Ice Cube’s debut album stands as perhaps the best West coast rap album ever…and one of the best rap albums all time easily. Lyrically cube is incredible. He has a strong delivery and a nice flow. The beats are really catchy, and simple….the album is just great from front to back, and I really liked it after just one listen. This album has really relevant topics, makin it a classic without debate. This is the album in the movie Straight Outta Compton that made NWA know they messed up letting Cube go lol. The verdict is a 10/10 what else would it be muchucka?

A monumental album in gangsta rap. Its one album I didn’t really want to buy since  my Dad already had the greatest hits, but im glad I bought this. It starts with the well known single, Straight Outta Compton, which is a great track. My personal favorite, F*** the Police, is terrific. Ice Cube sets the stage here and on the whole album. He’s the best rapper in NWA and its obvious. Ren is good too. He gets a couple solo cuts. Eazy-E is dope too here and there. The Dr. Dre and Yella Production is vivid and effective. This is one album you gotta have, plain and simple. The Verdict is a 10/10

Ice Cube’s 2 nd album is arguably better than the first. While very similar, I feel that Cube hit more topics this time around, and his lyrics are just as lethal. The album is a truly enjoyable thrill ride. He raps about social issues, many of which, are still relevant today. The album might be the DEFINITIVE west coast album. Given up the Nappy Dugout, My Summer Vacation, No Vaseline,and A Bird in the Hand are some of the stand out tracks.  The Verdict, u already know... 10/10
