 Have you been wondering what video games I've been playing since the late 2010s and till now in the mid 2020s? Well here you go Ok so after I traded in the Xbox One in 2018 I got a Nintendo Switch. OMG this thing was great. I think Breath of the Wild was my first game. I would get Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Odyssey too. I was till playing my ps4 a lot too. I was playing God of War (2018) and Horizon Zero Dawn.....but I wouldn't beat either one of those until about 2020. Later for PS4 I was able to play games that were technically ps5 games like Horizon Forbidden West and God of War Ragnaraok. Both games were absolutely amazing! Back on the Switch I would play some really great games like Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Zelda Skyward Sword remastered. I really was playing quite a few Pokemon games annually too like Shield, then Brilliant Diamond, then later Scarlet. Of course during this time period I was playing NBA 2ks annually till 2k23. Honorable Mentions: Titan Fall 2, DBZ Kakarot, Star Wars Battlefront II, Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection. 15) Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga-This has proven to be a really fun Lego Star Wars game. It has some great missions from all 9 mainline Star Wars movies. I love the voice acting actually which isn’t what you’d expect from a Lego game. The game is just a ton of fun. You can play as almost any star wars character you can think of…. 14) Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection- I’m no stranger to fighting games. I had Street Fighter V also but this collection I poured way more hours into. It’s got Street Fighter 1, many versions of 2, Alpha, and 3. It has the ability to save your progress in any point of any fight…which I gotta tell you was a real life saver!  So if you've been following the blog you knew this post was coming. Last month I finally was able to get a Playstation 5. OMG was it well worth the wait. It was looking like I'd be stuck on the last generation forever lol.  The graphical upgrade on the PS5 is pretty noticeable. Of course I'm sure it would be better with a 4k TV but my smart tv is 1080p so its fine for now. I do notice more details and such in the games. For example in NBA 2k26 the players are far more expressive and move more lifelike. I don't have a lot of games right now, but I have played some like NBA 2k26, Tekken 8, and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (Expect a review on that one day). The load times are insanely fast. It's really noticeable from the PS4. There is a game switcher in the controller home button menu that can switch games really easily. The PS5 can do a lot of things.  Yesterday was the day! I finally got a PS5 y'all....after wanting it since it about came out....Expect a review on the system at some point like I've done for other systems. I got one that came with NBA 2k26. I also bought Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Tekken 8. It's good to be a gamer! My first impressions is the system feels so premium and futuristic. That controller feels so damn good! The astro bot demo was very fun from what I tried out yesterday.

 I recently beat God of War Ragnarok which means I have once again beaten every God of war game. Man this one was really really awesome. I mean I knew it would be good cause GOW 2018 was an incredible reboot. I'll try to avoid spoilers here and just give you the run down. This game takes place a few years after the end of the first one....and right away Freya (the final boss's mom from the last game) is trying to kill you. It's really exciting right from the jump. Really throughout the game there was rarely a dull moment. Atreus, Kratos' son is older and a battle hardened warrior at this point. He does alot more for you in combat then he did in the previous game....and there are even a few segments in the game that you play as him. Kratos is a little more laid back then he's ever been. Uncharted Games Ranked                 Okay so the Uncharted games are some of the best games around…but which is the best? I wont include Uncharted Golden Abyss. I have played it but I haven’t beaten it….it just doesn’t seem that good to me. Hey maybe I’ll beat it like the others one day….These games are all cinematic action adventures that play like a movie. Let’s get into it. 5) Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune (8)                 Ah the first Uncharted game. Your first introduction to Nathan Drake and company. It’s a decent game and an early PS3 game originally. The other games are just SO MUCH better. However playing this helps you understand the core characters more…specifically Drake, Sully, and Elena.
