Album Review: Logic-Ultra 85

This review is pretty late but hey I've finally got to it. I've got to admit this is one of Logic's best album's to date. It's technically a sequel to The Incredible True Story ; which was a great album in its own right. The album follows the space adventures of Thomas and Kai. I love the skits here just like on the predecessor. From the skits tho, the narrative tells a story before the events of TITS. Logic is just in top form on this album lyrically. The album opens with "Paul Rodriguez" which is a long lyrical assault. "Mission Control" is where Logic flips the beat on Gucci Mane's "Lemonade". In fact this album is just full of call backs to TITS. The production is pretty damn good too. I liked every song but some more than others obviously. Overall yeah Logic imo has nothing left to prove after this incredible 3 album run of  Vinyl Days, College Park, and now Ultra 85.  Lyrics 24 Beats 23 Depth 25 Tilt 25 Verdict 97

Nas Albums Worst to Best

20)      Nastradamus (75)- It really shouldnā€™t be a surprise to see this one ranked so low. The lyricism isnā€™t abysmal but everything is pretty average. How does a song like ā€œBig Girlā€ make it to a Nas album?? Itā€™s just a boring album plain and simpleā€¦.I donā€™t really have a lot to say about it. 19)          Streetā€™s Disciple (82) -I hate having this one so low. I honestly like a lot of the songs on this double disc. Unfortunately thereā€™s quite a bit of filler here just like with Jay-zā€™s Blueprint 2. Disc one has hits like ā€œNazareth Savageā€, ā€œAmerican Wayā€, ā€œ Just a Momentā€ and ā€œ You Know My Styleā€. Disc 2 has some heat on it too: ā€œSuicide Bounceā€, the title track, ā€œVirgoā€, ā€œBridging the Gapā€ and ā€œThiefs Themeā€.   18) T he Lost Tapes 2 (86) -This one I admit I havenā€™t heard that muchā€¦but its pretty decent. It gets off to a good start with songs like ā€œVernon Familyā€ and ā€œJarreau of Rap (Skatt Attack)ā€. A lot of these songs are okā€¦.but not muc...
