My Favorite Star Wars Moments (11-20)

11.
Anakin defeats Count Dooku- This was an awesome fight. At first it was Anakin and Obi wan vs. Count Dooku(Darth Tyrannus). Count Dooku quickly made it a one on one fight though. I personally think he underestimated Anakin a little bit, but regardless Dooku lost. The Look in the defeated Sith lord’s face is priceless when he realized he has been betrayed by his master Palpatine(Darth Sidious)
12.
Order 66-This was the turning point in Revenge of the Sith. The evil Darth Sidious had already programmed his troopers to “purge the jedi”. He was just waiting for the appropriate time. The clone troopers turn on the jedi and not many survive that one day. I’m sure more Jedi were killed  later on as well.
13.
Darth Maul fights Qui Gon Jin and Obi Wan- An epic duel with the “Duel of the fates music”. It would seem from watching this that Darth Maul was clearly the better duelist out of the 3. Regardless after witnessing Qui Gon get cruely stabbed, Obi wan went on the offensive and won the duel for the Jedi.
14.
Luke vs. Darth Vader in ESB- Before the prequels came out this was the ultimate star wars duel. Its clear that while Luke was very talented with his light saber he was no match for Vader. Darth Vader dominated most of the fight….and eventually won. I really think that he was toying with Luke for most of the fight.
15.
Anakin wins the Podrace- The Podrace was one of the best parts of the Phantom Menace. I love how Anakin came back from tying last to win. If he hadn’t won the race the story of star wars might have been very different.

16.
The Opening Space Battle in ROTS- This battle is very impressive. There’s a lot of different things going on at one time. The scene does a nice job of keeping me into the action. Obi wan is kind of passive while Anakin is clearly a better space pilot. The epic music seals the deal here..
17.
Padme’s Death- An extremely sad event. The irony here is that Anakin would think she died of child birth, but in reality she died of a broken heart. The Emperor would lie to Vader trying to make him think that his force choke on Padme killed her. This is a pivotal event in the saga…

 18.
The blowing up of the 1st Death Star- A very tense moment from A new Hope. You keep thinking how in the world is Luke going to finally blow up the Death Star, especially considering the fact that he turned off his targeting computer. Then he had Darth Vader firing on him from behind. Luckily Han Solo showed up just in the nick of time and got the tie fighters off Luke’s back.

19.
Darth Vader defeats Obi Wan- If Episode IV was the first movie you saw like most fans, then you don’t really understand the importance of this moment. Vader had been beaten and left for dead near a lava river of Mustafar by Obi wan. Therefore after seeing Revenge of the Sith you know how much more important this is. Otherwise, you’ll just think that this is only to fuel Luke’s motivation for wanting to kill Vader.
20.
General Grievous reveals his 4 Light Sabers- This was an awesome moment. You think this new villain is just a cyborg, but no he actually has 4 arms with a light saber in each hand! He immediately started spinning them at Obi Wan!

I will have the top ten ready soon....

My Top Rappers of All Time List

30) Rick Ross (7.7) Essential Album: Teflon Don Starting off the list is Ricky Rossay. Ross has great delivery and a lot of good albums. He scores really high in the versatility category. Ross’s pen game has definitely gotten better from when he debuted in 2006 with Port of Miami. Ross’s biggest flaws were his storytelling and impact. Otherwise solid MC.     29) Young Jeezy (7.8) Essential Album: The Recession Another dirty south MC. Jeezy is one of my favorite rappers. He has a lot of good albums with no real duds. He does have the best ad libs in the game. His collaboration and versatility are high. He really brings the heat on his features. Storytelling and Impact weren’t that high but hey; hes tied with the next rapper.   28) Nicki Minaj (7.8) EA: The Pinkprint Arguably the most dominant female rapper of all time. Nicki really shines when features on others tracks. She usually steals the show like on Kanye West’s “Monster” song. She’s also really versatile; able to sing also and

My Favorite R&B Albums (as 2023 list)

Here are my favorite R&B albums. I'm not gonna do the countdown....I'm just going to list them. The last time I did a list like this was 2013. 1.       Rihanna-Good Girl Gone Bad- As her best album and the album that made her a star…it’s only right that as my favorite singer Rihanna takes the title. GGGB isn’t a perfect album but I love it. There’s a little something for everyone here. The smooth “Lemme Get That”, the party anthem “Don’t Stop the Music”, and the jam “Umbrella” featuring Jay-Z. “Hate that I love You” featuring Ne-Yo is really good too. This album is just always a blast to listen to. 2.       Amerie-In Love & War- When I made this list about 10 years ago, this was the number one album. I love this album so much. I was considering her “Because I Love it” album for this list too, but I don’t really go back to that one that much. This album is just a flamethrower of R&B execution. That first half is great with songs like : “Heard Em All”, “Why R U”, and

My Favorite Rap Albums (As of 2024) List

1.       Kanye West-Graduation -Coming in at number one we have Kanye’s 3 rd  album. Sure it’s not his best or flashiest but damnit I love it so much. Listening to this album just gives me so much joy honestly. “Champion” is a great song, then there’s a fan favorite pick “I Wonder”. I do think the lyrically dense “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” is the best track. Who could forget the smooth “Flashing Lights”. It really amazing that Kanye was able to create another great soundscape that sounded very different than College Dropout and Late Registration. Honestly this album isn’t my favorite by leaps and bounds over the top 10; but its certainly still my favorite rap album. 2.       Ludacris-Word of Mouf- Coming in at number 2 is Ludacris. I think this album is his best while others may say Release Therapy or Chicken & Beer. Fun fact this was the first album I ever bought. Sure there’s some filler…but this album has a lot of Ludacris’s best tracks on it. There’s “Rollout”, “Move Bitch”, “Area
