My Favorite Kanye West Songs(Top 25)

25) Amazing: 808’s and Heartbreak- Kanye is joined by Young Jeezy. This song has a really eerie feel to it. Jeezy’s verse isn’t bad. This song doesn’t really fit on the album if you ask me, but its one of my favorite songs by Mr. West.

24) Robocop: 808s- This song has a really cool beat. The song is almost new territory for Kanye singing auto-tune on the entire record.

23) Crack Music: Late Registration- Kanye is joined by the Game here. It’s a lil disappointing that Game doesn’t spit a verse but this is still a great song. The song’s elements blend together really well.

22) Get Em High: College Dropout- West is joined by Talib and Common. Talib’s verse seems to be the best….Common’s verse didn’t impress me that much when I first heard it. The beat has a mysterious feel to it.

21) Monster:My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy- Its hard to not like a song where West is joined by Jay-z, Rick Ross, and Nicki Minaj.  It’s a twisted creepy swagga like us type record, but I must say Ross’s verse is lackluster, while Nicki’s verse is show-stealing.

20) I Wonder: Graduation- One of my favorites for a few reasons. Kanye raps slowly on this awesome beat. The sample is really well used here also.

19) Gone: LR- Kanye is joined by Consequence and Camron here….but neither mc can steal the show from Kanye. The last verse is really hot.

18) Jesus Walks: CD- A very deep song that may seem awkward considering K’s new persona with MBDTF. Regardless this song helped really put Kanye out there.

17) Through the Wire: CD- This was the first time I heard Kanye rap on his own record. I could really tell that he was going to be a successful rapper. The story behind this song is great.

16) Good Life: G-The ultimate feel good song. T-Pain does a good job here. Kanye sampled MJ’s P.Y.T. song here. I really like the verses. They are pretty comical and dope at the same time.

15) Touch the Sky: LR- It may seem odd that this song is so far back but it made the top 15. This was actually the first time I heard Lupe rap and I was impressed. The beat is explosive and the verses are great.

14) Heartless: 808s- Arguably the best song on the album. The song just has that feel to it, not to mention one of the better beats that Kanye has made. End result: Auto-tune done right!

13) Gold Digger: LR- Another eyebrow raiser….this is possibly Kanye’s biggest hit. Gold Digger has it all….a great chorus from Jamie Foxx, and clever rhymes from Mr. West. The beat however is just above average.

12) Lost in the World: MBDTF- A very creative song with an awesome incorporation of sounds!

11) The Glory: G- A great record with impressive lyrics….Excellent use of samples.

10) Can’t Tell Me Nothing: G-Arguably K’s best song…but it has its flaws. I really like how Kanye stepped it up lyrically here. You really cant pick at his ability at all here. Average beat though.

9)Big Brother: G-Kanye’s ode to his big bro Jay-z aka the God MC. It’s a very deep song that’s well rounded also. Kanye didn’t produce this beat but its pretty hot. A great way to end the album.

8) Diamonds Remix: LR-Another dope song. Interesting enough Kanye put this song on the album and put the regular version as a bonus track. Jay wins on this song as referenced on the aforementioned Big Brother song.

7) Last Call: CD- A great song where Kanye tells his story…

6) POWER:MBDTF- A very cool song that kind of reminds me of his Stronger song. Power is fast paced and hard hitting. Excellent lyrical delivery. When I first heard this song I really didn’t notice anything odd about it till I saw the controversial video.

5) Dark Fantasy: MBDTF- the perfect intro...i was surprised by Leona Louis’ added part to the chorus. This song has a terrific beat. Kanye really does a good job lyrically also.

4) Stronger: G- One of my favorite rap songs period. The sample is perfect….and his lyrics aren’t bad either. This is a very creative song

3) Devil in a New Dress: MBDTF- Kanye spits fire here, I mean serious fire lol. Rick Ross comes in with a dope verse at the end.

2) All Falls Down: CD- An incredible record that really put Yeezy on the map. I absolutely love the chorus and the way West consciously goes over several topics including a “young black female addicted to retail.”

1) All of the Lights: MBDTF- This actually ranks about the same as the top 4….but this is one incredible song! Kanye is joined by Rihanna and Kid Cudi…and a whole host of other artists. Kanye raps about the troubles of stardom…although I don’t think he’s telling his story.

Well that’s the list….there was only room for so many songs….honorable mention to some other Kanye songs I really like :Slow Jamz, Diamonds From Sierra Leone, Good Morning, Coldest Winter, and Gorgeous

Doja Cat Albums Worst to Best

Doja Cat has been one of my favorite rapper/singers of the past few years. Let's see which albums are the best from her. 5) Amala (88)- Doja’s first album is honestly pretty damn good. You can tell she was still refining her sound tho on this. The last 3 songs “Juicy”, “Tia Tamera”, and “Mooo” are so good. “Candy” is another banger. The album is really well balanced being pretty much good in all areas but not really great in any tho. Favorite Track: Mooo. 4) Scarlet (90)- Believe it or not, this was an album I was on the fence about getting. I’m glad I got it. This is a rap heavy album but there’s still plenty of singing here and there. “Demons” and “F**k the GIrls” are Doja at her roughest. “Attention” was a great single. “Agora Hills” is a nice cute track. The monster single “Paint the Town Red” is the best track however. This album wa a big departure for her, but for the most part it paid off. Fav. Track Paint the Town Red. 3) Vie (92)- This was Doja returning to her pop roots,...

Album Review: Doja Cat-Vie

The much anticipated latest Doja Cat album! I was very curious to see where she'd go after the dark rap heavy Scarlet. The path she took was a 80s sounding pop album. It took a few listens for the album to click with me but yeah its awesome. Doja is in her zone here on this album. She sings a lot and acts as her own featured rap artist which is interesting. The first 3 songs are pretty strong. "Cards" is sultry. I love "Jealous Type" too (the lead single). "AAAH MEN!" might be my favorite song however. The production is great but maybe not the best she's ever had. I liked most every song. "Silly!Fun!" and "Come Back" are also excellent. As far as features go there's only SZA on " Take Me Dancing". So basically we have a very strong album here...but maybe not quite as good as Planet Her but it’s very close. Maybe I'll do a Doja Cat album ranking in the near future. She's been one of my favorite artists sin...

Tech Review: Iphone Air

I have only had this phone for over a week but I feel the need to review it. I recently got a 512gb light gold iPhone Air. This phone is so thin. You really have to hold it for yourself to believe it. I knew when I used it at a local Best Buy I had to have it. The phone is also a modern marvel having most of the technology in the camera bump. Of course you're wondering about that camera and battery life.  Honestly the battery is decent. It gets me through the day at work with minimal charging ( I mean who goes somewhere with no charger anymore?). The camera is good too. I'm not a huge camera guy anyways. The phone's 6.5 inch Super Retina XDR OLED display is great. I really notice a difference from my old phone (iPhone 12). The phone doesn't really get that hot either which is great. One thing I'm not a huge fan of is the one speaker on the phone....but honestly it's not that bad. I usually use headphones anyways. Apple Intelligence is still in beta but I think ...
