Toni Braxton & Baby Face-L.M.D. Review

The highly anticipated album doesn’t disappoint. There’s not really anything left field here. The two R&B heavyweights deliver. The production is decent but it’s the lowpoint here. The album has lots of cohesiveness. The whole album doesn’t really consist of all duets but those songs seem to be better. The album tells the story of Love, Marriage, and Then Divorce. Its not a cycle but rather problematic steps in a relationship that doesn’t work out. I don’t really think this is made for contemporary R&B fans but rather old school enthusiastics. This isn't easy to review...i'ma give it a 8/10

NBA Playoffs Recap 2014

This year's playoffs were incredible. Id like to give my thoughts on the rounds just like I did last year. Spurs and Pacers were #1 seeds.... 1st Round The first round was stellar. There were alot of game 7s. The Spurs went to G7 against a deceptively good Dallas team. Damian Lillard hit a 3pointer to get the Blazers to the second round. The Thunder had a very tough series against the Grizzlies. The Warriors might have got past the Clippers but the Clippers battled through off court adversity and won in 7. In the East, things were also interesting. The Pacers were my pick to win the East. They really struggled against a versatile Hawks squad, but they still won in 7 games. The Heat dominated an up and coming Bobcats squad in just 4 games. The Wizkids made short work of the Bulls. I expected that series to go the other way. The Nets managed to squeak by the Raptors. 2nd Round The 2nd round was a little more predictable. The Spurs dominated the Blazers and won in 5. In the ...

Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis-The Heist Review

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to give this album a chance…but then I heard Can’t Hold Us…which is a certified banger. The album has a really pop feel to it, which isn’t bad and is understandable. The album tackles issues that some rappers would never touch on, like homosexuality. Same Love is an interesting track that talks about that. Mackelmore keeps it real on Thrift Shop, “Well s*** it was 99 Cents”. Most of the album is very good. The creativity really shines as Macklemore constantly raps about contradictions and ant materialism. This is one good debut album. I give this a 8/10
