Video Game System Review: Wii U

Video Game System Review
Wii U

This is a system review. I’m not going to go into a lot of specifications. I’m just going to give you what I feel about the system. I’m going to review a system I have. That’s only fair. I got the Wii U right after it came out.

I really liked the Gamepad. I find myself playing on it while having the TV on something else often.. It’s a really handy device. Of course not all games (like Mario Party 10) enable that feature. The Wii Nunchuks are cool. I mostly just use them to play regular wii games. That is an awesome feature too. I missed out on a lot of wii games like Zelda Twilight Princess and Mario Galaxy(1and 2). The Pro controllers are very comfortable. I had to cop 2 of those.

Graphically, the Wii U is good, but rather inferior to the PS4 and Xbox 1. It does have some nice features though. Theres an ability to share messages with other players even in a game with Miiverse. The stylus and the gamepad can be used as a browser.

Games make or break a system. The wii U got games rather slowly…but last year or in December of 2013 is when the tide started to turn. Theres a lot of great games now like: Pikmin 3, Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors, and Smash Bros Wii U. I’d have to say the Wii U arguably had the best selection of games.

Wii U is a major step above the Wii. Its mostly all about the games and in that it delivers. The online features aren’t perfect but again it’s an improvement over the Wii. It has a decent amount of memory(if you bought the deluxe), 32gb…The wii U games

The Verdict
Graphics 7
Games 9.5
Features 6
Controllers 9
Memory 7.5
.

Overall: 7.8

Album Review: Schoolboy Q-Blue Lips

Ok I am a big Schoolboy Q fan. I gotta say I love this album...but believe it or not what kept me from getting it till fall 2024 was that horrendous album artwork lol. I mean damn its gross! Schoolboy has some great flows and lyricism on this album. "Thank god 4 me" is absolute flames. "Blueslides" is another highlight. There's something about the song "first" that is just so catchy to me. "Yern" is also pretty hard man. The guest list is minimal but it works. The production is really good here too. The album isn't quite as good as Blank Face to me but its definitely a major improvement over his last album Crash Talk. Definitely check this one out. Lyrics 24 Beats 23 Depth 23 Tilt 23 Verdict 93

Video Game Review: Jedi Fallen Order

I meant to review this game way back in the day when I first beat it but this is coming after my 2nd play-through. This time I played the game on hard difficulty and man was it tough. Compared to Jedi Survivor I think the game has a better story. You join Jedi padawan Cal Kestis as he escapes a scrapyard planet Bracca , fleeing from the Empire. Cal comes face to face with an Inquistor called 2nd sister. You end up fighting her a total of 4 times in the game.  The main story is Cal must help a former Jedi named Cere and her pilot Greez to find a Jedi holocron that has a list of force sensitive children to rebuild the Jedi Order. I gotta say the planets you visit are all for the most part pretty flushed out . I found Zeffo to be the main planet and navigating it is truly awful. Well I’m glad they made navigation better in Jedi Survivor. Of all the planets Dathomir (Darth Mauls planet) was by far the worst. There was tough enemies around every corner there and hard boss fights w...

Album Review: Clipse- Let God Sort Em Out

Well I didn't rush this review, I've had some time to sit with this album. It's a hell of a comeback album. Pusha T and Malice are deadly as ever on the mic. The album lyrically is intense. Production is pretty good too but I expected slightly more from an album produced entirely by Pharrell Williams. Speaking of Pharrell, he's all over this album...sometimes not just relegated to a hook. The album gets off to a great start with "The Birds Don't Sing" where both brothers talk about their parents who passed. Pusha T raps about his Mom. Malice about his dad. I really liked the vibe of "All Things Considered"; the The-Dream feature is good. That brings me to the features....like a monster one from Kendrick Lamar on "Chains & Whips". Tyler the Creator does well on "P.O.V.". Nas is on the 2nd last track and he does well too. "M.T.B. T. T. F." is fire, and it stands for Mike Tyson Blow to the Face lol. Ultimately its h...
