While not as explosive as I had hoped, Jay Rock’s latest
album is a great listen. He doenst have a whole lot of guests, nor too few. His
lyrics and delivery are crisp, and he knows when to change it up. The
production was really good, and I liked just about every song. With this album,
the T.D.E./Black Hippy camp (Kendrick, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, & Ab-Soul)
has got some really good albums all across the board. Next time around I’d like
to see more aggressiveness from Jay Rock but this will do.
Verdict: It's a solid 9.0/10.
