Video Game Review: Final Fantasy X

I just beat this game for the (i think) 4th time. It is masterful. I'm not going to go through the main points to it and give a score at the end of this review

FFX is a Role Playing Game(RPG For short). It's easily my favorite final fantasy game. The HD Version came out in 2014 for PS3 and PS Vita and i bought both versions. I actually have the ps4 version which includes FFX-2 which i will play at a later date. Whats really cool is you can cross save your game date no matter which of the 3 systems you play on. Thats a really nice feature. I actually started on PS3, played most on PSVIta, played some on PS4, and finsished on PSVIta.

Okay as for the game, it looks terrific. THe game is cinematic with terrific characters. The heroes are relatable, and the villains are interesting. I'm not going through the story in this blog post, but I have to say it's one of gaming best to date. It is the game that got me into the series(And sadly the only FF i've beaten so far.) FFX has a very accessible battle system that is turn based (think pokemon). Many people don't like it but i love it.

FFX is not an EASY game. But rarely does it ever feel cheap. You need to know what to do when fighting the bosses and enemies, and when to do it. The game preaches teamwork. For example, Tidus, the main character is quick so he can hit quick enemies. Lulu attacks with Black Magic, Yuna heals with White Magic. Auron and Kimahri hit armored foes with piercing weapons; Wakka hits flying enemies mainly.Rikku helps you customize armor by stealing items from foes.

The game is just masterful and keeps you on your toes after a somewhat slow start. The game also has a sport built in to it...called Blitzball that you can play. The story is definitely religious but never is it not fun. I \recommend this game to you, even if you dont play RPGs....It's my favorite RPG to date!

The Verdict: 10/10

Doja Cat Albums Worst to Best

Doja Cat has been one of my favorite rapper/singers of the past few years. Let's see which albums are the best from her. 5) Amala (88)- Doja’s first album is honestly pretty damn good. You can tell she was still refining her sound tho on this. The last 3 songs “Juicy”, “Tia Tamera”, and “Mooo” are so good. “Candy” is another banger. The album is really well balanced being pretty much good in all areas but not really great in any tho. Favorite Track: Mooo. 4) Scarlet (90)- Believe it or not, this was an album I was on the fence about getting. I’m glad I got it. This is a rap heavy album but there’s still plenty of singing here and there. “Demons” and “F**k the GIrls” are Doja at her roughest. “Attention” was a great single. “Agora Hills” is a nice cute track. The monster single “Paint the Town Red” is the best track however. This album wa a big departure for her, but for the most part it paid off. Fav. Track Paint the Town Red. 3) Vie (92)- This was Doja returning to her pop roots,...

Video Game Review: Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

I happened to beat this game recently for the first time in I was just in awe at how epic this game is. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a sequel to Final Fantasy 7 Remake (which I played on the ps4). This game was a ps5 exclusive however. I know I needed a ps5 if I was gonna play it. And last year I made that happen. This is a continuation of the story of Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, and Barrett as they fight against the Shinra Corporation and the evil Sephiroth. I'll try not spoil much. When the game starts you play as Zack who is a solider like Cloud. You saw Zack at the end of Remake. Basically story wise there is another dimension in this game and you play as Zach in it here and there. There is a relationship meter that the main character Cloud has with every party member….answering certain questions one way or another will change the relationship. I found this to be a cool touch that the first game barely had any resemblance of. The game's graphics are outstanding and characters look ...

Album Review: Doja Cat-Vie

The much anticipated latest Doja Cat album! I was very curious to see where she'd go after the dark rap heavy Scarlet. The path she took was a 80s sounding pop album. It took a few listens for the album to click with me but yeah its awesome. Doja is in her zone here on this album. She sings a lot and acts as her own featured rap artist which is interesting. The first 3 songs are pretty strong. "Cards" is sultry. I love "Jealous Type" too (the lead single). "AAAH MEN!" might be my favorite song however. The production is great but maybe not the best she's ever had. I liked most every song. "Silly!Fun!" and "Come Back" are also excellent. As far as features go there's only SZA on " Take Me Dancing". So basically we have a very strong album here...but maybe not quite as good as Planet Her but it’s very close. Maybe I'll do a Doja Cat album ranking in the near future. She's been one of my favorite artists sin...
