Verdict: 9.0
I Am…is a good Nas album. Most songs are really good. The production is
good, and his bars are great. I mean its Nas, what do you expect. Some songs
are kind of boring though. I don’t know if that’s because I’ve heard better Nas
songs or what. The album has a lot of guests too which include Aaliyah, DMX,
Scarface, and P.Diddy. Hate Me Now is a great track, but it doesn’t really get better
than Nas Is Like. On other songs like Undying Love and Small World Nas proves
why he is perhaps the greatest storyteller rap has ever seen. It’s a great
album, but only a good Nas album.
