Uncharted Games Ranked

Uncharted Games Ranked

Okay so the Uncharted games are some of the best games around…but which is the best? I wont include Uncharted Golden Abyss. I have played it but I haven’t beaten it….it just doesn’t seem that good to me. Hey maybe I’ll beat it like the others one day….These games are all cinematic action adventures that play like a movie. Let’s get into it.

5) Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune (8)
Ah the first Uncharted game. Your first introduction to Nathan Drake and company. It’s a decent game and an early PS3 game originally. The other games are just SO MUCH better. However playing this helps you understand the core characters more…specifically Drake, Sully, and Elena. The game has bad controls and hit detection too….Honestly I don’t think it’s a must play, but yes I do like it. The final boss fight is so wack tho….Hey everything starts somewhere right?

4) Uncharted: Drake’s Deception (9)
You will notice that DD is a full point higher than DF. Well this is a must play. Its biggest gripe is actually that it came after a better Uncharted game. Drake’s Deception is great though. Like all uncharted games it has sections that are annoying like when you play as young Drake. And there’s some continuity errors here with Uncharted 4…but I’ll get into that later. The melee combat is better here than Uncharted 2. The enemy variety is good too. The plot is kinda…..well it just gets a passing grade. Some of the action pieces are a beauty to behold. The part on the boat is terrific.

3) Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (9.5)
The ladies Uncharted…also the one without a single appearance from Nathan Drake. Spoiler alert, his brother is in it lol. The game has great pacing and it also is kind of open world-ish at one point. Chloe Frazier and Nadine Ross are strong characters. I would have liked to play at least one segment as Nadine however. The game has the mechanics of Uncharted 4….pretty much exactly. I cannot think of one gameplay feature here that isn’t in U4. However the game is a blast to play despite being only 9 chapters.

2) Uncharted 4: A Thieves End (9.85)
I had to give this ranking some thought. A Thieves End is a brilliant game. It is really long, and the end part seems to drag a bit. The pacing overall is great however. The graphics are amazing too. The grapple hook is a terrific element too. Also in this game you learn Drake was with his brother at a young age and not Sully like in Uncharted 3. The villains are good too. One of them is Nadine Ross who is hard to beat. The puzzles aren’t as hard as some other Uncharted games. The combat is refined from Uncharted 3 as well. This could have been a fitting end to Uncharted games, but I’m glad they made Lost Legacy.

1) Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (10)

Among Thieves is the one that got me into this series. The pacing is perfect. The action sequences are incredible too. The game is like what Uncharted 1 should have been. The enemy variety is great too. It also introduced Uncharted multiplayer modes. If you played Uncharted 1 first, the jokes here will make more sense. The train sequence is one of the greatest in all of gaming. The combat is better than Uncharted 1 as well. The stealth sequence early in the game is kind of annoying but if you take your time, you won’t mess up that much. Overall this is the “Empire Strikes Back” of Uncharted games.

Nas Albums Worst to Best

20)      Nastradamus (75)- It really shouldn’t be a surprise to see this one ranked so low. The lyricism isn’t abysmal but everything is pretty average. How does a song like “Big Girl” make it to a Nas album?? It’s just a boring album plain and simple….I don’t really have a lot to say about it. 19)          Street’s Disciple (82) -I hate having this one so low. I honestly like a lot of the songs on this double disc. Unfortunately there’s quite a bit of filler here just like with Jay-z’s Blueprint 2. Disc one has hits like “Nazareth Savage”, “American Way”, “ Just a Moment” and “ You Know My Style”. Disc 2 has some heat on it too: “Suicide Bounce”, the title track, “Virgo”, “Bridging the Gap” and “Thiefs Theme”.   18) T he Lost Tapes 2 (86) -This one I admit I haven’t heard that much…but its pretty decent. It gets off to a good start with songs like “Vernon Family” and “Jarreau of Rap (Skatt Attack)”. A lot of these songs are ok….but not muc...

Album Review: Kid Cudi-Insano (regular version)

I gotta admit I didn't like this album that much when I first heard it over half a year ago. I've heard that Kid Cudi doesn't exactly play to his strengths....that's partly true. I do like his rapping here tho. Honestly most songs here kinda blend together....."Keep Bouncin'" is really hype....and it gets the album off to a good start. "At The Party" with Pharrell Williams and Travis Scott may be my favorite song. "Wow" with A$AP Rocky is another highlight. Overall tho I feel this album tries too hard to be trendy. Cudi needed to put more of his pain into it. I mean a happy Cudi album isn't a bad thing but it really seems odd to me. You're not getting alot of singing or hums here know what I mean? However the production I found to be very good. Cudi is one of my favorite rappers like top 20 and I guess this will do for 2024. Lyrics 20 Beats 23 Depth 21 Tilt 21 Verdict 85

Album Review: Lupe Fiasco's Tetsuo & Youth

Lupe has come back, and with a classic album. He seemed to be back on tracks with Food and Liquor II, but F&L2 wasn’t as fun to listen to as his earlier albums. Even LASERS was more fun. This album however, is very complex and fun to listen to. It’s also incredibly well produced. Lupe proves he’s still a top lyricist in the game. Check out his lyrical showcase on Mural, or storytelling on  Prisoner 1 & 2. He’s got a really long song called Chopper which features a lot of guests but its all good. The last song might be the weakest which features Ab-Soul. No Scratches feat. Nikki Jean is one of my favorite songs here. The interludes are pretty intersing, but ultimately skippable. This album is already up for album of the year, and honestly it will be hard for anyone to match this effort. The verdict... its 10/10 for me. This is a great album
