My Favorite Point Guards in NBA History

The Point guard is the floor general.

Honorable Mentions: Pistol Pete Maravich & Oscar Robertson

10) Bob Cousy- The 6x Champ was no joke. He did lots of fancy passes and such. Stuff that is common place today. He was a good shooter which was kinda mandatory for PG back then. He was a 8x assist champion as well. He's the quintessential Celtics PG.

9) Jason Kidd- He's a 1 time champ but he played in a tough era. Kidd would always blow a kiss to his wife. He's an incredible passer and good defender too. I think his shooting improved as well. Kidd is a triple double machine (Pts-Reb-Ast)

8) Mike Bibby- Bibby was the best PG the kings had in their heyday in the early to mid 2000s. He was a big time shot maker like Derek Fisher. He wasn't really in his prime till like 2005-2006 season tho. There used to be a debate on if he or Steve Nash was the better player but I guess we know the answer to that.

7) Tony Parker-TP is the head of the SAS snake. He is their emotional leader since Tim D. is very quiet. Paker is a driving force and was so fast in his early and prime years. Teams that dont have shot blockers hated to play against the Spurs. He's a 4 time champ.

6) Chris Paul- CP3 is a great PG. Fundamentally perfect but no RING. So yeah he shoots well, handles well, and passes really really well. Lets hope he gets a ring one day.

5) Russell Westbrook-Is a dynamo but he is 95% or more effort 100 % of the time. He needs CHILL. Great defender and better passer. However his shooting is ...hit or miss? LOL. RW needs a chip man. He did average a triple double 2 seasons in a row.

4) Steph Curry-The baby faced assassin is a lights out shooter. Best shooter all time, and he can shoot off the dribble. He isn't a good defender but he can steal really well. He will always be effective as he's good at passing. I wish he'd get more layups. He's a 2 time MVP.

3) Jerry West-Only a one time champ. West is the logo for the NBA. He does everything well including defend, pass, shoot, and steal. I've seen him hit some "Steph Curry" like shots. He was the model NBA PG, and well might still be.

2) Steve Nash-Nash was a big time player. He could shoot almost as good as Curry but was a better passer. He just couldn't really be stopped. If he couldn't score he'd get others involved. Nash got better in his mid to later  years in PHX which was weird. The 2 time MVP had no rings tho.

1) Magic Johnson-Magic is the PG GOAT and his stats and accolades back that up. 5x champion and multi assist and steals titles. I like Magic cause he'd smile in your face but when the game started he'd tear your defense up or disrupt your PG. A true all time great.

Album Review: Schoolboy Q-Blue Lips

Ok I am a big Schoolboy Q fan. I gotta say I love this album...but believe it or not what kept me from getting it till fall 2024 was that horrendous album artwork lol. I mean damn its gross! Schoolboy has some great flows and lyricism on this album. "Thank god 4 me" is absolute flames. "Blueslides" is another highlight. There's something about the song "first" that is just so catchy to me. "Yern" is also pretty hard man. The guest list is minimal but it works. The production is really good here too. The album isn't quite as good as Blank Face to me but its definitely a major improvement over his last album Crash Talk. Definitely check this one out. Lyrics 24 Beats 23 Depth 23 Tilt 23 Verdict 93

Nas Albums Worst to Best

20)      Nastradamus (75)- It really shouldn’t be a surprise to see this one ranked so low. The lyricism isn’t abysmal but everything is pretty average. How does a song like “Big Girl” make it to a Nas album?? It’s just a boring album plain and simple….I don’t really have a lot to say about it. 19)          Street’s Disciple (82) -I hate having this one so low. I honestly like a lot of the songs on this double disc. Unfortunately there’s quite a bit of filler here just like with Jay-z’s Blueprint 2. Disc one has hits like “Nazareth Savage”, “American Way”, “ Just a Moment” and “ You Know My Style”. Disc 2 has some heat on it too: “Suicide Bounce”, the title track, “Virgo”, “Bridging the Gap” and “Thiefs Theme”.   18) T he Lost Tapes 2 (86) -This one I admit I haven’t heard that much…but its pretty decent. It gets off to a good start with songs like “Vernon Family” and “Jarreau of Rap (Skatt Attack)”. A lot of these songs are ok….but not muc...

Album Review: Kid Cudi-Insano (regular version)

I gotta admit I didn't like this album that much when I first heard it over half a year ago. I've heard that Kid Cudi doesn't exactly play to his strengths....that's partly true. I do like his rapping here tho. Honestly most songs here kinda blend together....."Keep Bouncin'" is really hype....and it gets the album off to a good start. "At The Party" with Pharrell Williams and Travis Scott may be my favorite song. "Wow" with A$AP Rocky is another highlight. Overall tho I feel this album tries too hard to be trendy. Cudi needed to put more of his pain into it. I mean a happy Cudi album isn't a bad thing but it really seems odd to me. You're not getting alot of singing or hums here know what I mean? However the production I found to be very good. Cudi is one of my favorite rappers like top 20 and I guess this will do for 2024. Lyrics 20 Beats 23 Depth 21 Tilt 21 Verdict 85
