The last Lil Wayne cd is pretty good, but as I listened to it; I can’t help but want more. He starts the album out very strong with songs like Mona Lisa which was recorded way back in 2014. I guess that’s the main issue with this album. It sounds somewhat dated. Despite this Lil Wayne’s rapping is very poignant. I love his intensity on earlier tracks. He sounds incredibly focused. I liked most songs here but like Carter 3 and 4 there’s undeniable filler. This is a personal album and maybe the number one album I thought would never be released. Good job Weezy.
