Rihanna's Top Songs

Rihanna Top 10 Songs

1.       Only Girl in the World-This song is really really dope. I love how the beat sounds kinda mischevious, kinda naughty. I love her explosive vocals on this track. This song is RihRih at her best.

2.       Umbrella-Her breakout song is really dope. Jay Z comes in with a killer verse to start it off. She sings of not just love but actually being your lover’s friend also. I feel that’s an important virtue.

3.       Kiss It Better- I really love this song. It’s very majestic and smooth. Rihanna sings with hope and savageness all at the same time. I absolutely love the chorus. “Kiss it Kiss it better baby!”

4.       S&M- This song just screams bad girlness and naughtiness. Its actually about ….(wait for it) bondage sex. Rihanna is in full sexy mode by the last verse. I have played this song more than any other Rihanna song.

5.       Diamonds-I love Diamonds because Rihanna sings of a love that has already blossomed but now is fully realized. Its like she knew he had it what it took the whole time. I believe this was also Rihanna’s favorite song of hers.

6.       Bitch Better Have My Money- This song is just so Rihanna. Its hella aggressive and rough. She kinda does a singing rap style here and its dope AF.

7.       Pon De Replay- PDR is her first official single I believe. I love it so much to this day. It just yells “hey yall lets just have fun !” Ultra simplistic and ultra good!

8.       Consideration-The leading song off Anti features SZA. Its really dope and its very interesting. This is one of Rihanna’s better duets ever. The beat is really a backdrop, albeit, a perfect one.

9.       Don’t Stop the Music-I had to include this song cause she sampled my favorite male singer EVER, Michael Jackson. The beat is loud and builds up tempo perfectly with the sample. I love Rihanna’s singing here too.

10.   Talk That Talk-Jay returns to help her out again. Like most of the album its just incredibly well executed. I love the chorus.

Honorable Mentions:  Wild Thoughts, Looooove Song, Hate That I Love You, Sledgehammmer, Love the Way You Lie (Part II), Man Down, Work

Album Review: Schoolboy Q-Blue Lips

Ok I am a big Schoolboy Q fan. I gotta say I love this album...but believe it or not what kept me from getting it till fall 2024 was that horrendous album artwork lol. I mean damn its gross! Schoolboy has some great flows and lyricism on this album. "Thank god 4 me" is absolute flames. "Blueslides" is another highlight. There's something about the song "first" that is just so catchy to me. "Yern" is also pretty hard man. The guest list is minimal but it works. The production is really good here too. The album isn't quite as good as Blank Face to me but its definitely a major improvement over his last album Crash Talk. Definitely check this one out. Lyrics 24 Beats 23 Depth 23 Tilt 23 Verdict 93

Video Game Review: Jedi Fallen Order

I meant to review this game way back in the day when I first beat it but this is coming after my 2nd play-through. This time I played the game on hard difficulty and man was it tough. Compared to Jedi Survivor I think the game has a better story. You join Jedi padawan Cal Kestis as he escapes a scrapyard planet Bracca , fleeing from the Empire. Cal comes face to face with an Inquistor called 2nd sister. You end up fighting her a total of 4 times in the game.  The main story is Cal must help a former Jedi named Cere and her pilot Greez to find a Jedi holocron that has a list of force sensitive children to rebuild the Jedi Order. I gotta say the planets you visit are all for the most part pretty flushed out . I found Zeffo to be the main planet and navigating it is truly awful. Well I’m glad they made navigation better in Jedi Survivor. Of all the planets Dathomir (Darth Mauls planet) was by far the worst. There was tough enemies around every corner there and hard boss fights w...

Album Review: Clipse- Let God Sort Em Out

Well I didn't rush this review, I've had some time to sit with this album. It's a hell of a comeback album. Pusha T and Malice are deadly as ever on the mic. The album lyrically is intense. Production is pretty good too but I expected slightly more from an album produced entirely by Pharrell Williams. Speaking of Pharrell, he's all over this album...sometimes not just relegated to a hook. The album gets off to a great start with "The Birds Don't Sing" where both brothers talk about their parents who passed. Pusha T raps about his Mom. Malice about his dad. I really liked the vibe of "All Things Considered"; the The-Dream feature is good. That brings me to the features....like a monster one from Kendrick Lamar on "Chains & Whips". Tyler the Creator does well on "P.O.V.". Nas is on the 2nd last track and he does well too. "M.T.B. T. T. F." is fire, and it stands for Mike Tyson Blow to the Face lol. Ultimately its h...
