Album Review: Pusha T-It's Almost Dry

I gotta admit that with this album King Push solidifies himself as a top 20 rapper ever. Yes he's that damn good. So how's this album tho? Well the first half is the better half but honestly this album has grown on me. It gets off to a good start with "Brambleton" where he takes a subliminal shot at Drake. "Neck & Wrist" featuring Jay-Z is a really good track. Jay never disappoints. Pusha's Lyrics are really good here on this album. One song I thought could be better was the Kid cudi and Kanye assisted "Rock N Roll". "Diet Coke" and "Call My Bluff" are also dope af. One song that kinda grew on me is "Scrape it Off" featuring Lil Uzi Vert...yeah odd feature choice. The last song featuring his brother is really good too.  Lyrics 24 Beats 23 Depth 23 Tilt 23 Verdict 93

Album Review: Big K.R.I.T.-K.R.I.T. IZ HERE

Big K's 2019 outing was really solid man. It's not quite as good as his previous albums but its not too far behind. There's a decent amount of guest spots; like Lil Wayne and Saweetie on "Addiction", and J. Cole on "Prove It". KRIT proves to be a master of his craft on many songs like the smooth "Obvious" and "Blue Flame". The production is good too but nothing ground breaking. "Everytime" and "Energy" are another set of stand out tracks. Ultimately I cant find too much wrong with this album but maybe it just left me wanting slightly more. He is definitely one of the better dirty south rappers. Lyrics 23 Beats 22 Depth 24 Tilt 23 Verdict 92

Album Review: G-Eazy -These Things Happen Too

This is G-Eazy's sequel to his 2014 album, These Things Happen. It's a shame this album didnt sell well cause I think its actually great. G-Eazy is really introspective on songs like "Wanna Be Myself" for example. On "Time" he talks about his friendship with the late rapper Mac Miller. Demi Lovato does a great job on the song "Breakdown". Of course the album opener is really hot too. Lyrically its typical G-Eazy...and the production is decent too. Overall tho I find myself liking most of these tracks. Well done Gerald. Lyrics 21 Beats 22 Depth 23 Tilt 22 Verdict 88

Album Review: Baby Keem- The Melodic Blue

This album by Kendrick's cousin Baby Keem is pretty good man. Baby Keem spits funny bars that I honestly don't take too seriously. There are some serious bangers here like the Kendrick Lamar assisted "Range Brothers" and "Family ties". I liked "South Africa" too as its pretty catchy. However it almost felt like for every good to great song there was a pretty average one. Baby Keem needs to work on his concepts and execution on some songs. However I did enjoy this album....I'm sure his next album will be better than this one too. Lyrics 20 Beats 21 Depth 21 Tilt 20 Verdict 82

Album Review:Doja Cat-Hot Pink

I really loved Doja Cat's Planet Her album so I had to give her previous work a listen. The album is really good. The sound is varied blending together varying sounds and genres. The first song "Cyber Sex" sets the tone nicely. I really like "Say So" as well. It's so damn catchy. "Bottom Bitch" is also really good. Doja  just has a masterful way of combining singing with rapping. The production is really good here too. The last song "Juicy" which features Tyga may have been on her previous album but its awesome. Ultimately this is a really solid album. I can't say its better than Planet Her but its not far behind. Album Review:Logic-Bobby Tarantino III

Logic returns from retirement with a decent mixtape. As a Logic fan knows there's "Album Logic" and "Mixtape Logic"; this being one of the latter lol. I gotta admit tho, this might be the weakest of the Bobby Tarentinos. It does have some bangers tho like "Flawless" and "God Might Judge". The latter is really fire. There's a stupid skit that's literally called "Stupid Skit" lol. "Vaccine" is another highlight. Logic spits pretty well here but nothing special. The album is pretty laid back overall...which is kinda odd to be honest. I was honestly expecting more since No Pressure was so good...but hey this is just meant to tide us over till the next Logic offering.  Lyrics 22 Beats 21 Depth 22 Tilt 20 Verdict 85

Video Game Review: Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD

So I beat this game earlier this year and man I loved it. I had barely played the original for Wii so it was very much like a fresh playthrough. The story was very much a strongpoint for this game. I won't go through it for this review however. Instead I'll focus on gameplay and dungeons etc. For my playthrough I played with button controls which even that took some getting used to. I would use motion controls to aim certain projectiles like the slingshot and bow. However with the sword I would flick the right stick in a certain direction. There's a little bit of lag with that but you get used to it. Of course when I was fighting the first boss it was a nightmare as most of my attacks he would block as I wasnt very good yet. Flying your bird is pretty fun too. Besides one airborne boss I didnt really have any issues with that. This is a classic Zelda game in every sense of the word which is very diffrent from Breath of the Wild. And for the most part I really enjoyed this...
