Drizzy Drake's first 2 albums

Thank Me Later

Fireworks- Drake raps about his newfound stardom. He’s joined by Alicia Keys who does a great job on the chorus. The beat is kinda nothing more than a backdrop. I really like Drake’s verses here.

9/10

Karaoke- Drake sings almost the entire song. Its an okay song but rather skippable.

5.5/10

The Resistance- This one is a little better than the previous track. I like the chorus. Drake continues to rap about his newly found stardom. The beat is interesting but the topic has gotten kinda stale by now.

6/10

Over-Over is a tremendous song with an awesome beat. Drake kills the song with sharp delivery.

9.5/10

Show Me a Good Time- Another uptempo song. I really like the beat, and the chorus is pretty hot too.

8.5/10

Up All Night- This is song has a real dark feel to it, as Drizzy and Minaj kill the song. Nicki really steals the show though…..with lines like “F*** I look like ho? I look like yes and you like no”.

9/10

Fancy- This is a fun song dedicated to the hot ladies. Drake is joined by T.I., Swizz Beatz, and Mary J. Blige. It’s a really dope record with a terrific beat

9.5/10

Shut it Down- A long song with The-Dream. It’s ok, but way too long. It really does nothing for the album.

6/10

Unforgettable- Drizzy is joined by Young Jeezy here. The chorus is fire, as is the rest of the song. I like the beat too.

8.5/10

Light Up- Drake rhymes with the great GOD mc Jay-z on this one. The beat is intense, and I love the chorus. Jay-z’s verse is pretty good, but not quite up to his usual standards. He gives advice to the young rapper.

9.5/10

Miss Me- Lil Weezy joins Drake on this one. This song seems rather climatic, like it should have been the last song. Lil Wayne spits a fire verse but he can’t steal the spotlight from Drake.

9/10

Cece’s Interlude- Drake sings a bit, I guess it’s a good prequel to the following track.

7/10

Find Your Love- A song about Drake trying to find love. The song has some really nice pacing and a dope beat. Drake sings the entire song but man is it effective.

9.5/10

Thank Me Now- A pretty good song. Drake continues showcase his unique style of rapping. It’s good that he closes out his album without any guest features.

9/10

I give this album 8.75/10

Take Care

Over My Dead Body- I love the sample this song has. Drake spits some hot fire.

8/10

Shot For Me- Drake gets back at his ex-gfs here. This song is catchy but somewhat too slow.

7.5/10

Headlines- The hit single has an infectious beat. This song couldn’t have any other rapper on it….besides Over I think it’s his signature song.

9.5/10

Crew Love- Drake is joined by the Weeknd here; and the singer steals the show but only momentarily. This song has a nice beat that changes up. 8.5/10

Take Care- A great “Duet” between Drake and Rihanna….I’m not sure where they got that sample from but it’s a good song regardless.

9/10

Marivin’s Room/Buried Alive- Marvin’s Room is very long, slow, and well interesting. It’s basically just Drake calling an ex girl and telling her how he struggles with stardom. Buried Alive is a dope freestyle. 8.5/10

Underground Kings- A very cool uptempo song. Drake only cares about “Rappin, B**ches and Rappin” LOL. This is a dope song

9/10

We’ll Be Fine- This song is really similar to the previous one but its also just as good. Drake does some singing here and there…man he has really defined his sound here. 9/10

Make Me Proud- Drake and Nicki are at it again….this song is good but it falls short of their Thank Me Later collabo. Anyways these two have great chemistry and the beat is pretty good. 8.5/10

Lord Knows- The boss Rick Ross joins Drake on this one. This happens to be the best song on the album. It just has an epic feel to it. 10/10

Camera/ Good Ones Go- I really like he Camera part of this song(9/10) but the 2nd part is a little average(7/10)…so I will split the difference

8/10

Doing It Wrong- Another ode to the ladies. It feels like the songs on his 1st album where he just sung on the whole song. 7.5/10

The Real Her – Drake is joined by Lil Wayne and Andre 3000. This song is pretty good. I’m kind of questioning him not putting this song somewhere else on the album…like at the end. Andre has the best verse.

8/10

HYFR(HELL YEA F”N Right)- This song is pretty dope, Lil Wayne assists again. The chorus is addictive. 9/10

Look What You’ve Done – A good song where Drizzy pays homage. He retells the story of what happened before his signing… 8.5/10

Practice- Somewhere JUVENILE is PISSED OFF. Drake takes his back that A** UP song and basically remakes it lol. The song isn’t very good but it is catchy.

6.5/10

The Motto- Lil Wayne drops by again for the closing song on the album. “I’m the f***in man you don’t get it do ya..” Drake kills it. My only problem with this song is it should have been switched with Look What You’ve Done for the last track.

9.5/10

I give this album 8.5/10

Doja Cat Albums Worst to Best

Doja Cat has been one of my favorite rapper/singers of the past few years. Let's see which albums are the best from her. 5) Amala (88)- Doja’s first album is honestly pretty damn good. You can tell she was still refining her sound tho on this. The last 3 songs “Juicy”, “Tia Tamera”, and “Mooo” are so good. “Candy” is another banger. The album is really well balanced being pretty much good in all areas but not really great in any tho. Favorite Track: Mooo. 4) Scarlet (90)- Believe it or not, this was an album I was on the fence about getting. I’m glad I got it. This is a rap heavy album but there’s still plenty of singing here and there. “Demons” and “F**k the GIrls” are Doja at her roughest. “Attention” was a great single. “Agora Hills” is a nice cute track. The monster single “Paint the Town Red” is the best track however. This album wa a big departure for her, but for the most part it paid off. Fav. Track Paint the Town Red. 3) Vie (92)- This was Doja returning to her pop roots,...

Video Game Review: Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

I happened to beat this game recently for the first time in I was just in awe at how epic this game is. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a sequel to Final Fantasy 7 Remake (which I played on the ps4). This game was a ps5 exclusive however. I know I needed a ps5 if I was gonna play it. And last year I made that happen. This is a continuation of the story of Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, and Barrett as they fight against the Shinra Corporation and the evil Sephiroth. I'll try not spoil much. When the game starts you play as Zack who is a solider like Cloud. You saw Zack at the end of Remake. Basically story wise there is another dimension in this game and you play as Zach in it here and there. There is a relationship meter that the main character Cloud has with every party member….answering certain questions one way or another will change the relationship. I found this to be a cool touch that the first game barely had any resemblance of. The game's graphics are outstanding and characters look ...

Album Review: Doja Cat-Vie

The much anticipated latest Doja Cat album! I was very curious to see where she'd go after the dark rap heavy Scarlet. The path she took was a 80s sounding pop album. It took a few listens for the album to click with me but yeah its awesome. Doja is in her zone here on this album. She sings a lot and acts as her own featured rap artist which is interesting. The first 3 songs are pretty strong. "Cards" is sultry. I love "Jealous Type" too (the lead single). "AAAH MEN!" might be my favorite song however. The production is great but maybe not the best she's ever had. I liked most every song. "Silly!Fun!" and "Come Back" are also excellent. As far as features go there's only SZA on " Take Me Dancing". So basically we have a very strong album here...but maybe not quite as good as Planet Her but it’s very close. Maybe I'll do a Doja Cat album ranking in the near future. She's been one of my favorite artists sin...
