The 2nd album by NY’s Greatest rapper of all
time, isn’t far behind the 1st one. There is filler, but the filler
is really good. I feel that Biggie spoke of death a little too much but then
again, being the true King of NY. He dominates with a flow and delivery that is
unrivaled by any rapper dead or alive. Overall I think he was not in his prime
when he made this album. It’s sad when a young supremely talented rapper dies.
The album is filled with great songs. Some sound similar but I will call that
cohesiveness. If it weren’t for a few songs this would be just as good as Ready
to Die.
Overall I give this album 9.5/10. Its a groundbreaking Eas Coast Rap album. Sippin on booz in the house of blues....BIGGIE!
