Female R&B Tournament-FInals

1)     Beyonce’ vs. 3)Rihanna: This is it. The final round! I kinda predicted that these 2 would meet up. Both are really talented, have lots of sales, and have great albums. There can only be one winner lets go.

Vocal Ability-Tough to call but Beyonce’ has as slight edge here 6-4

Albums-While the best Beyonce’ albums are slightly better than Rihanna’s best I don’t think that’s much of a difference. And Rihanna has more quality albums to me. 4-6

Collaboration-I feel it’s a solid tie here. Both artist have great collabos…5-5

Versatility-Both these artists are extremely versatile. They excel at pretty much any kind of song. Both ladies can rap a bit too. It’s a tie I believe. 5-5

Impact-My job just isn’t getting any easier. I feel Beyonce’s music is a tad bit more impactful. She seems to have defined the genre a little more. It’s still a close split tho. 6-4

Comm. Success-Rihanna wins here no doubt but the question is how big is the split. I’ll say 3-7 cause Queen B hasn’t sold quite as much as Mariah Carey did….

Beyonce’ has 29 /Rihanna has 31! So Rihanna is the champion! It was a very close battle in this round but ultimately sales played a part in her even getting to this round. Queen B had her reign, but the #1 seed lost. This tournament has been hard to do but a lot of fun!

Doja Cat Albums Worst to Best

Doja Cat has been one of my favorite rapper/singers of the past few years. Let's see which albums are the best from her. 5) Amala (88)- Doja’s first album is honestly pretty damn good. You can tell she was still refining her sound tho on this. The last 3 songs “Juicy”, “Tia Tamera”, and “Mooo” are so good. “Candy” is another banger. The album is really well balanced being pretty much good in all areas but not really great in any tho. Favorite Track: Mooo. 4) Scarlet (90)- Believe it or not, this was an album I was on the fence about getting. I’m glad I got it. This is a rap heavy album but there’s still plenty of singing here and there. “Demons” and “F**k the GIrls” are Doja at her roughest. “Attention” was a great single. “Agora Hills” is a nice cute track. The monster single “Paint the Town Red” is the best track however. This album wa a big departure for her, but for the most part it paid off. Fav. Track Paint the Town Red. 3) Vie (92)- This was Doja returning to her pop roots,...

Video Game Review: Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

I happened to beat this game recently for the first time in I was just in awe at how epic this game is. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a sequel to Final Fantasy 7 Remake (which I played on the ps4). This game was a ps5 exclusive however. I know I needed a ps5 if I was gonna play it. And last year I made that happen. This is a continuation of the story of Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, and Barrett as they fight against the Shinra Corporation and the evil Sephiroth. I'll try not spoil much. When the game starts you play as Zack who is a solider like Cloud. You saw Zack at the end of Remake. Basically story wise there is another dimension in this game and you play as Zach in it here and there. There is a relationship meter that the main character Cloud has with every party member….answering certain questions one way or another will change the relationship. I found this to be a cool touch that the first game barely had any resemblance of. The game's graphics are outstanding and characters look ...

Album Review: Doja Cat-Vie

The much anticipated latest Doja Cat album! I was very curious to see where she'd go after the dark rap heavy Scarlet. The path she took was a 80s sounding pop album. It took a few listens for the album to click with me but yeah its awesome. Doja is in her zone here on this album. She sings a lot and acts as her own featured rap artist which is interesting. The first 3 songs are pretty strong. "Cards" is sultry. I love "Jealous Type" too (the lead single). "AAAH MEN!" might be my favorite song however. The production is great but maybe not the best she's ever had. I liked most every song. "Silly!Fun!" and "Come Back" are also excellent. As far as features go there's only SZA on " Take Me Dancing". So basically we have a very strong album here...but maybe not quite as good as Planet Her but it’s very close. Maybe I'll do a Doja Cat album ranking in the near future. She's been one of my favorite artists sin...
