Album Review: Drake- Maid of Honor

Ah the final album of the Drake trilogy. I gotta admit I kinda like this one quite a bit more than Habiti. This one is apparently for the ladies. "Road Trips" has a nice uptempo vibe to it. "Cheetah Print" with Sexyy Red is a lot better than their collaboration on Habiti. In fact it's rather wild lol. Lyrically the album is pretty passable. The production is solid. Not every song is good. I don't know what he was thinking on "Princess". It really sounds bad and it's the last song too. "Which One" with Central Cee is pretty fire. I mean most songs are decent however. You gotta hand it to Drake for making a pretty decent comeback in 2026. I thought he was done after the very popular 2024 beef.  Lyrics 20 Beats 22 Depth 19 Tilt 20 Verdict 81

Album Review: Ariana Grande-Petal

This new Ariana Grande album is very polarizing it seems but I really like it! The single "hate that I made you love me" is really nice. This album seems to have a different sound than her past works for the most part. It's darker for sure. "Petal" has some really interesting production. Sometimes I found Ariana's singing would be kinda drowned out by some song's production but it rarely happens. "freak" is a highlight. As is "like I do" where she flaunts she'll do her lover better than anyone else. "oh well" has a really nice flow to it too. I could see someone being a little disappointed that this album doesn't really cover anything from her personal life. But the album is really good. Not as good as her last album but it's better than Positions from 2020. I actually have the album cover that shows shoes and her legs and not the regular album cover. So I guess it's the special edition of the album. It says...

In Depth Review: T.I.-King (20th anniversary)

Opening Opinion: 96  Wow its hard to believe its been over 20 years since T.I. released one of (if not his best) albums, King. The album is just amazing. It didn't leave my CD player for a while after I got it. Let's get into the review. I believe it was heavily used in the movie ATL which I saw on my 18th b-day.  Let's start with the DJ Toomp produced "What You Know" and man, this is probably his best solo song. The beat is infectious. I love the hook too. "Somebody get bet get bruh, fo he get sent for, say you wanna squash it, what you still talking shit for", raps T.I.. The 2 songs before this are really good too. "King Back" which is produced by Just Blaze is also amazing. The song is so triumphant. It really gets me hype. A perfect opener. I love how he tells you to listen to his past albums to get a feel for who he is. "Front Back" features UGK (Bun B and Pimp C) and is produced by Mannie Fresh. Man this beat is just  fire. All ...
