Tinashe- From Worst to Best

4)Nightride-I originally had this as her highest rated album but...its the weakest of the four. The album is sultry and really unique sounding. This doesn't work on every song however. The album does have some good highlights however. It's a solid album that ends on a high note. Top Tracks: Company, Touch Pass, Soul Glitch, You Don't Me, Party Favors.

3) Songs for You-Her latest album is pretty damn good. I feel like there's some obvious filler but most of this album I like. Unlike Nightride, it gets off to a strong start but it has a weaker ending. "Save Room For Us" is a tremendous track that showcases her singing. "Die a Little Bit" is a nice change of pace too; as is "Link Up". Overall there's a lot to like about this one. The production isn't really all that great tho...just kinda average. TT: Save Room For Us, Hopscotch, Die a Little Bit, Link Up

2) Aquarius-Her first album is really really good. It has one of my favorite songs ever on it; "2 On" This album has lots of different sounds on it. "Bet" and the title track are perfect openers. I really like "How Many Times" which seems to be really sultry. "Pretend" is nothing special but I really like "All Hands on Deck" and "Watch Me Work". It seemed that Tinashe really excels on the faster paced songs but she would prove later on to be more versatile. TT: 2 On, Bet, Aquarius, How Many Times, Watch Me Work, All Hands On Deck.

1) Joyride-That's right, her 3rd album Is I think the quintessential Tinashe album. There's some serously good songs here like the title track right off the bat. "No Drama", "Ooh La La" and "Me So Bad" are also bangers. The production on this album was noticeably better than on Nightride. "Salt" is a great slower song too. Tinashe shows more vocal ability here I think than on the other albums. If I had to say anything bad I'd say some songs sound too similar like "Faded Love" and "No Drama". Overall great album. TT:Joyride, Salt, Fire and Flames, Me So Bad, Ooh La La, No Drama

Album Review: Schoolboy Q-Blue Lips

Ok I am a big Schoolboy Q fan. I gotta say I love this album...but believe it or not what kept me from getting it till fall 2024 was that horrendous album artwork lol. I mean damn its gross! Schoolboy has some great flows and lyricism on this album. "Thank god 4 me" is absolute flames. "Blueslides" is another highlight. There's something about the song "first" that is just so catchy to me. "Yern" is also pretty hard man. The guest list is minimal but it works. The production is really good here too. The album isn't quite as good as Blank Face to me but its definitely a major improvement over his last album Crash Talk. Definitely check this one out. Lyrics 24 Beats 23 Depth 23 Tilt 23 Verdict 93

Video Game Review: Jedi Fallen Order

I meant to review this game way back in the day when I first beat it but this is coming after my 2nd play-through. This time I played the game on hard difficulty and man was it tough. Compared to Jedi Survivor I think the game has a better story. You join Jedi padawan Cal Kestis as he escapes a scrapyard planet Bracca , fleeing from the Empire. Cal comes face to face with an Inquistor called 2nd sister. You end up fighting her a total of 4 times in the game.  The main story is Cal must help a former Jedi named Cere and her pilot Greez to find a Jedi holocron that has a list of force sensitive children to rebuild the Jedi Order. I gotta say the planets you visit are all for the most part pretty flushed out . I found Zeffo to be the main planet and navigating it is truly awful. Well I’m glad they made navigation better in Jedi Survivor. Of all the planets Dathomir (Darth Mauls planet) was by far the worst. There was tough enemies around every corner there and hard boss fights w...

Album Review: Clipse- Let God Sort Em Out

Well I didn't rush this review, I've had some time to sit with this album. It's a hell of a comeback album. Pusha T and Malice are deadly as ever on the mic. The album lyrically is intense. Production is pretty good too but I expected slightly more from an album produced entirely by Pharrell Williams. Speaking of Pharrell, he's all over this album...sometimes not just relegated to a hook. The album gets off to a great start with "The Birds Don't Sing" where both brothers talk about their parents who passed. Pusha T raps about his Mom. Malice about his dad. I really liked the vibe of "All Things Considered"; the The-Dream feature is good. That brings me to the features....like a monster one from Kendrick Lamar on "Chains & Whips". Tyler the Creator does well on "P.O.V.". Nas is on the 2nd last track and he does well too. "M.T.B. T. T. F." is fire, and it stands for Mike Tyson Blow to the Face lol. Ultimately its h...
