Album Review: Cardi B- Am I the Drama?

You gotta admit 7 years is a long time, but Cardi B did well on her sophomore album. The album gets off to a good start with "Dead" which features Summer Walker, who does her best SZA impression. "Hello" and "Magnet" are great songs too. Things slow down with songs like "Pick It Up" which features Selena Gomez, and "Safe" with Kehlani. "Bodega Baddie" is really good yet short latin song. "Man of Your Word" is obviously about ex-husband Offset...and its really thoughtful. The first 2 singles "Imaginary Player" and "Outside" aren't bad but perhaps not the best singles for this album. Lyrically Cardi has her signature charisma here. The beats are good too but not quite as good as the ones on Invasion of Privacy. "Pretty & Petty" is the diss track to rapper Bia....and I like Bia...but theres no coming back from that one lol. "ErrTime" was good too. That one really reminded me of her IoP era. It was nice to hear Tyla on "NIce Guy" too. The inclusion of "Up" and "WAP" is odd since the songs are so old...but they help this album's depth. I found the album pretty repayable too....So yeah this is a win for Cardi.

Album Review: Schoolboy Q-Blue Lips

Ok I am a big Schoolboy Q fan. I gotta say I love this album...but believe it or not what kept me from getting it till fall 2024 was that horrendous album artwork lol. I mean damn its gross! Schoolboy has some great flows and lyricism on this album. "Thank god 4 me" is absolute flames. "Blueslides" is another highlight. There's something about the song "first" that is just so catchy to me. "Yern" is also pretty hard man. The guest list is minimal but it works. The production is really good here too. The album isn't quite as good as Blank Face to me but its definitely a major improvement over his last album Crash Talk. Definitely check this one out. Lyrics 24 Beats 23 Depth 23 Tilt 23 Verdict 93

Album Review: Clipse- Let God Sort Em Out

Well I didn't rush this review, I've had some time to sit with this album. It's a hell of a comeback album. Pusha T and Malice are deadly as ever on the mic. The album lyrically is intense. Production is pretty good too but I expected slightly more from an album produced entirely by Pharrell Williams. Speaking of Pharrell, he's all over this album...sometimes not just relegated to a hook. The album gets off to a great start with "The Birds Don't Sing" where both brothers talk about their parents who passed. Pusha T raps about his Mom. Malice about his dad. I really liked the vibe of "All Things Considered"; the The-Dream feature is good. That brings me to the features....like a monster one from Kendrick Lamar on "Chains & Whips". Tyler the Creator does well on "P.O.V.". Nas is on the 2nd last track and he does well too. "M.T.B. T. T. F." is fire, and it stands for Mike Tyson Blow to the Face lol. Ultimately its h...

My Top Video Games of all time

I've done plenty of music lists, so i think its time to pay homage to my top video games of all time. I'm only going to mention games i've played. So, if a game you like is not up here(which I guarantee a few wont be) let me know. Lets get into it.... 1)       The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time- I have praised this game so many times, and it’s all well deserved. Ocarina has great controls and the graphics were nice at the time. I really love the story, and how the game is paced. You do a side quest of some kind, which generally isn’t long, then you go to a dungeon, get an item, use that item to get further in the dungeon, then beat the boss. Ocarina is, the best Zelda, and as of right now I don’t think that’s up for discussion. There are some really good Zelda games though such as Wind Waker, ALTTP(which made my list), and some others. 2)       Final Fantasy X- Final Fantasy X….is the only FF I’ve beaten, and I’ve played F...
