The Dragon Ball Z review-Saiyan Saga

Hey I'd like to take this time to talk about one of my favorite animes, Dragon Ball Z. This show has captivated me ever since I first saw it when I was ten years old. The show is really action packed. If you havent seen it yet, then i suggest you do. Im going to run through the saga quickly and give you some of my favoirite moments that I can remember from each saga. I am going to try not to include spoilers but sometimes you have to.

Saiyan Saga part 1:
This is the first saga. It starts fairly well. There is one villain, Raditz, who is Goku's older brother. I love how the events play out. Goku must work with a former villain, PIccolo, to defeat Raditz. Raditz probably would have won this fight, but Goku's son, Gohan gets pissed and attacks Raditz. Piccolo ends up charging up his special beam cannon and killing Raditz, who is restrained by Goku. The result is that the earth is saved, but Goku dies(for the first time out of many).
Score: 8/10

S Saga part 2:
This where the show really gets good. This is arguably one of my favorite parts of the series. Evil Saiyans are coming to attack the earth. They come looking for Dragon Balls, which they found out about threw Raditz. Early on you have the good guys training hard to get ready for the Saiyans. Goku trains with King Kai.....Im not going into all the details. The Z fighters prove to be no match for Nappa and Vegeta. Nappa does all the fighting early on. He's a Big Brute type of fellow, while Vegeta is short and skinny, but the Z fighters notice that Vegeta is the more powerful of the two. Goku comes back and he races to the battlefield. However he cant get there before almost every good guy (Z fighter) gets killed. Only Gohan and Krillin(a cowardly fighter) end up being alive by the time Goku shows up.

When Goku finally shows up, he kicks Nappa's a**. Nappa is unfortunately killed by Vegeta. This is where the show heats up. Goku finds out how tough Vegeta really is. The fight is incredible, but Goku almost wins. Then Vegeta does something to transform into...(Not spoiling it). With a combintation of help from Gohan and Krillin and this fat guy named Yajorobe..Vegeta is beaten. Goku is all messed up but he lets Vegeta live, which turns out to be a really good idea later.
Score: 8.5/10

Saiyan Saga Score: 8/10I really like the S. Saiyan Saga. As great as it is....its still not as good as DBZ gets......

Album Review: Schoolboy Q-Blue Lips

Ok I am a big Schoolboy Q fan. I gotta say I love this album...but believe it or not what kept me from getting it till fall 2024 was that horrendous album artwork lol. I mean damn its gross! Schoolboy has some great flows and lyricism on this album. "Thank god 4 me" is absolute flames. "Blueslides" is another highlight. There's something about the song "first" that is just so catchy to me. "Yern" is also pretty hard man. The guest list is minimal but it works. The production is really good here too. The album isn't quite as good as Blank Face to me but its definitely a major improvement over his last album Crash Talk. Definitely check this one out. Lyrics 24 Beats 23 Depth 23 Tilt 23 Verdict 93

Video Game Review: Jedi Fallen Order

I meant to review this game way back in the day when I first beat it but this is coming after my 2nd play-through. This time I played the game on hard difficulty and man was it tough. Compared to Jedi Survivor I think the game has a better story. You join Jedi padawan Cal Kestis as he escapes a scrapyard planet Bracca , fleeing from the Empire. Cal comes face to face with an Inquistor called 2nd sister. You end up fighting her a total of 4 times in the game.  The main story is Cal must help a former Jedi named Cere and her pilot Greez to find a Jedi holocron that has a list of force sensitive children to rebuild the Jedi Order. I gotta say the planets you visit are all for the most part pretty flushed out . I found Zeffo to be the main planet and navigating it is truly awful. Well I’m glad they made navigation better in Jedi Survivor. Of all the planets Dathomir (Darth Mauls planet) was by far the worst. There was tough enemies around every corner there and hard boss fights w...

Album Review: Clipse- Let God Sort Em Out

Well I didn't rush this review, I've had some time to sit with this album. It's a hell of a comeback album. Pusha T and Malice are deadly as ever on the mic. The album lyrically is intense. Production is pretty good too but I expected slightly more from an album produced entirely by Pharrell Williams. Speaking of Pharrell, he's all over this album...sometimes not just relegated to a hook. The album gets off to a great start with "The Birds Don't Sing" where both brothers talk about their parents who passed. Pusha T raps about his Mom. Malice about his dad. I really liked the vibe of "All Things Considered"; the The-Dream feature is good. That brings me to the features....like a monster one from Kendrick Lamar on "Chains & Whips". Tyler the Creator does well on "P.O.V.". Nas is on the 2nd last track and he does well too. "M.T.B. T. T. F." is fire, and it stands for Mike Tyson Blow to the Face lol. Ultimately its h...
