Chesstown King's Reviews and Thoughts

 After a lengthy delay Alicia Keys finally dropped Alicia earlier this year and man is it really good. Its a very accessible album with lots of guests spots. I really like "Good Job" which has been molded too fit the first responders and such dealing with Covid-19. "Underdog" is a great song too. Alicia's singing is really smooth and impactful on these tracks. The production is vibrant too. I liked most every song here. Some songs didnt stand out as much as others but hey thats the case with most Alicia Keys albums. All in all its not quite as good as HERE but its not behind by much at all. She's R&B royalty indeed. I wanted to wait until the election had a winner to actually blog about this historic election. First off as you might know, I really don't like Trump and I'm so happy he took the L this time. Congrats to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris! It's a well deserved victory! I actually started following the process from the overcrowded democratic debates. I really didn't think Joe Biden was gonna get the nomination. Early on I was going for Kamala to win the nomination but hey now in hindsight its all good as she'll be the first female Vice President. She's also a woman of color so its a big deal. Can we talk about those 3 debates? Man the first one was insane. It was Trump making it a sh** show lol. He wouldn't hardly let Biden talk. I think it really hurt Trump's chances even more even considering how poorly he handled (Is handling) the Coronavirus. The vice presidential debate was far more civil. I thought Kamala did a great job and didnt come off too aggressive....

 This is Logic's mainstream projects worst to best. I've made some changes to the ranking from my individual reviews. Lets get into it. 8) Confessions of a Dangerous Mind-  The worst of Logic’s illustrious discography is CODM. The songs are mostly forgettable and aren’t executed that well. Despite this, its not that bad. There are some bangers here. “Homicide” featuring Eminem is the best no doubt. The album kinda feels rushed or that Logic needed a break which we all know in 2020 that he just took.  Top Tracks: Homicide, Icy, Keanu Reeves, Don’t Be Afraid to Be Different.   7) Bobby Tarentino II-  The 2 nd  BT mixtape is pretty damn good, even if it falls considerably short of the first one. There are some bangers here like “Contra” and “Warm It Up”. Some of the guests don’t really do much to help the album unfortunately.
