Album Review: Nicki Minaj- Pink Friday 2

I gotta admit this album really grew on me. It's an official sequel to her first album, Pink Friday. That can be a little confusing as I thought her 2nd album Pink Friday Roman Reloaded was a sequel to Pink Friday. Anyways this album has a lot of different sounds to it. She raps on that Biggie Smalls beat on "Barbie Dangerous". "FTCU" is another highlight with a dope sample. "Let Me Calm Down" Featuring J. Cole is really smooth too. I didn't care too much for the Lil Wayne assisted "RNB". I like the vibe of the song "Needle" which features Drake. I really like "Everybody" which features Lil Uzi Vert. One thing that works for this album is the sample baiting. Say what you want; it's used really effectively on this album. I really enjoyed the lead single "Super Freaky Girl" too. Overall Nicki spits well but you can't help but feel she could of done a little better. The production is really good tho. The album is deep with good replay value (tilt). So how does this compare to the original Pink Friday? I think its about as good honestly.

Album Review: Schoolboy Q-Blue Lips

Ok I am a big Schoolboy Q fan. I gotta say I love this album...but believe it or not what kept me from getting it till fall 2024 was that horrendous album artwork lol. I mean damn its gross! Schoolboy has some great flows and lyricism on this album. "Thank god 4 me" is absolute flames. "Blueslides" is another highlight. There's something about the song "first" that is just so catchy to me. "Yern" is also pretty hard man. The guest list is minimal but it works. The production is really good here too. The album isn't quite as good as Blank Face to me but its definitely a major improvement over his last album Crash Talk. Definitely check this one out. Lyrics 24 Beats 23 Depth 23 Tilt 23 Verdict 93

Album Review: Clipse- Let God Sort Em Out

Well I didn't rush this review, I've had some time to sit with this album. It's a hell of a comeback album. Pusha T and Malice are deadly as ever on the mic. The album lyrically is intense. Production is pretty good too but I expected slightly more from an album produced entirely by Pharrell Williams. Speaking of Pharrell, he's all over this album...sometimes not just relegated to a hook. The album gets off to a great start with "The Birds Don't Sing" where both brothers talk about their parents who passed. Pusha T raps about his Mom. Malice about his dad. I really liked the vibe of "All Things Considered"; the The-Dream feature is good. That brings me to the features....like a monster one from Kendrick Lamar on "Chains & Whips". Tyler the Creator does well on "P.O.V.". Nas is on the 2nd last track and he does well too. "M.T.B. T. T. F." is fire, and it stands for Mike Tyson Blow to the Face lol. Ultimately its h...

My Top Video Games of all time

I've done plenty of music lists, so i think its time to pay homage to my top video games of all time. I'm only going to mention games i've played. So, if a game you like is not up here(which I guarantee a few wont be) let me know. Lets get into it.... 1)       The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time- I have praised this game so many times, and it’s all well deserved. Ocarina has great controls and the graphics were nice at the time. I really love the story, and how the game is paced. You do a side quest of some kind, which generally isn’t long, then you go to a dungeon, get an item, use that item to get further in the dungeon, then beat the boss. Ocarina is, the best Zelda, and as of right now I don’t think that’s up for discussion. There are some really good Zelda games though such as Wind Waker, ALTTP(which made my list), and some others. 2)       Final Fantasy X- Final Fantasy X….is the only FF I’ve beaten, and I’ve played F...
