Chesstown King's Reviews and Thoughts

Ok so I want to review this phone before I eventually get a new one. This is my 2nd iPhone I've ever had. I know...shocking right? What I didn't remember is this is the first iPhone lineup to not include headphones or a charger in the box. I have the product Red version of this phone. Red is my favorite color so it was a match made in heaven lol. I love the flat edges of the phone. Also I gotta talk about what was a big change....the no home button and reliance on Face ID. For the most part Face ID works great. Its fast and snappy. Of course during the pandemic Apple had to adjust it to read with a face mask on.The whole new gesture system didn't really take me too long to get used to.  I feel the screen is really good on it...even in 2025. Of course it was slimmer than my iPhone 8 Plus's screen but hey who's complaining. Im trying to be fair here....yeah ive had this phone since April 2021....and the battery is really starting to be poor.....When it was new though...

About a week ago or so I beat Star Wars Jedi Survivor. Im so happy I got a chance to play it cause they put it on PS4....yes I sadly as of early 2025 do not have a PS5 yet. But anyways I thought the game was considerable improvement over Jedi Fallen Order in most ways.  The game is set a few years after the end of the first game. One thing I like is you keep all your Jedi techniques from the first game Jedi Fallen Order. You can force push and pull and double jump right from the jump. Early in the game you also get access to a new lighstaber form dual wield. In this game there are 5 lightsaber forms. Single is good in any situation but not the best for ideal situations. I think double bladed has good defense but low range. Dual wield is fast but has low defense. Later on you get access to a blaster form which has great range. Then there's the Cross-guard which is Kylo Ren's lightsaber form...its slow in this game but has high damage and defense to it. The enemy variety in the...

I gotta admit I really like this Outkast album....to me it was ahead of its time. Not to mention it's the highest selling rap album in the United States. Speakerboxx is Big Boi's half and its a damn good rap album. The production is sharp...and most every song is great. "GhettoMusick" is the perfect opener. "The Way You Move" is the smooth stand out single. I really like "Tomb of Boom" too. "Flip Flop Rock" featuring Killler Mike and Jay-Z is just straight fire. Then theres's Andre 3000's The Love Below which is pretty damn good in its own right. "Love Hater" is kind of a average opener. "Happy Valentine's Day" is a banger tho. "She Lives In My Lap" is an amazing song in its own right with that funky beat. The singles "Hey Ya" and "Roses" are amazing too. Overall this is a pretty fun listen....maybe a tad bit too long but still great. 3 Stacks singing and rapping is very effec...

This is an album I liked a whole lot from first listen. I just love how personal he is on this album. His mom kinda acts as an unofficial narrator here. The album gets off to a good start with its first 3 tracks. "Noid", the lead single is really creative with its African singing and dope beat. I've just got to say while Tyler as an MC is as good as ever, the beats here are phenomenal. "Sticky" is my favorite song. It features GloRilla, Sexyy Red, & Lil Wayne. "I Killed You" was another highlight. I really enjoyed "Thought I Was Dead" which featured Schoolboy Q and Santigold. Some songs like "Judge Judy" were a little odd....but all in all I liked most every song. Overall its honestly hard to say if this is Tyler's best album....at first I thought it was but then I've given older albums like Call Me If You Get Lost as spin and I don't think this eclipses that.  Lyrics 23 Beats 25 Depth 24 Tilt 23 Verdict 95

Long story short this is a great return to form for Ariana. Sure her last album Posistions wasn't bad but it was a little below her standards. This one is incredible tho...somewhere around where Thank U,Next was. The best song is "the boy is mine" a take on the classic song by Brandy and Monica. And notice how those 2 lent their talents to a radio remix of the song! "yes, and?" is another terrific song. You gotta admit "bye" is a real bop too. Ariana's lyrics and singing is terrific here. The production I found pretty damn good too....if maybe a step behind the lyrical performance. Honestly there aren't really any bad songs here. No its not her best album but its not that far behind.  I haven't done a video game review in a while...and trust me I had a ton of video game reviews I planned to do. Hey here we are at a review of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom. I gotta admit this game was WAY better than I expected. Lets get into it. In this game you start surprisingly as Link (as every other game in the series)....and you fight Ganon right away at full hearts etc. Its pretty exciting...but after that Link falls into a portal and you find yourself playing as Zelda. Zelda goes to the castle only to see her father, the king fall into a rift (portal) and then imposters come out. After that Zelda gets blamed for the rifts and is thrown in jail.  I'll try to minimize spoilers but you get help from a little yellow fairy thing called Tri. Tri can make copies or echoes of objects or enemies. Its so helpful and unique. While watching other play this game on twitch I'd be like "wow I didn't solve the puzzle like that..." or "wow I didnt beat the enemy that ...

Ok so before I get to this review...I do have an iPhone 12. IDK why I didnt review it. I might review it but honestly Im looking for an upgrade. But you're here of the AirPods review.  Basically these are very good AirPods. I went with these over the AirPods pros. These have noise cancelation....and its very effective. The sound of these things are great too! AirPods really fit great in my ear too. The case also makes a little sound when I charge it....and I know it will play a sound when you use the Find My app. It's not all good tho....The AirPods lower volume to read text messages and sometimes if I try and say something the volume while listening to music will stay low for a while. A small complaint but it happens sometimes.  Overall these are very good AirPods. Ive also had the original AirPods and the 3rd generation. These are definitely worth the money. Verdict: 9.3
