Beyonce Review(Self Titled)

Beyonce has returned after the lackluster 4 album. On this album her approach is a lot different. She Is very sexy on this album, which at first kind of reminds me of Rihanna’s territory, but she is still classy with it. Beyonce worked with a lot of producers on this album and its apparent. The only real guests on the album are Jay-z and Drake. I personally preferred Drake’s cameo a lot more than Jigga’s. Anwyays I feel this is a complete album that Beyonce can fall back on for a while. She’s the queen of modern day R&B. Overall Rating 99 Grade A+ Lyrics 25 Beats 25 Depth 25 Tilt 24

My Thoughts: The Good, The Bad, and the Elite rappers

Wassup yall. This is another My Thoughts blog. I might step on some toes with this blog post but im just gonna keep it 100 on this one. here is a list and breakdown of several rappers that are grouped into 3 categories: The good rappers, the bad rappers, and the elite rappers. No these aren't in order, but I put them in the categories that I feel they belong too. The Good Aite let's start with some good rappers in 2014. They are consistent and noteworthy. Kendrick Lamar-He is one rapper that will likely be Elite before all is said and done. He is a great lyricist with a lot of creativity. One of the things about him that I really like is he has no GIMMICK. 50 was shot, Kanye had the accident....but with K Dot its just raw rappin. Drake-I didn't like Drake when he first came out, but by mid 2010 I became a fan of Drake's. He is a singing rapper, who in my opinion is very similar to Ja Rule, but of course hes a better lyricist. Kid Cudi-One of my favorite...

My Best Games of ALLLLL TIIIIIIME (Ranked by System)

N64 -The N64 was a terrific system at the time of its release. It was superior to the Playstation 1....although many games came out for both systems. I really like the N64, or course back then game systems were just that; and the N64 was designed to do just that. Zelda Ocarina of Time - I already blogged about this game. Its not only the best N64 game but its also the best game period. From the stellar story, to great gameplay,. sound and controls. Ocarina reigns supreme. Its never too hard, nor is it too easy. Goldenye 007 -A terrific FPS.....that quite honestly was the blueprint for the shooters that would come after it. This game had tremendous style, not to mention a 4 player multi player mode which was incredibly fun. My only dislike is that some stages bordered on unbeatable without codes. Super Mario 64 - This is another game for the 64 that was a benchmark. Yes it seems every adventure game has been compared to this game in some form or fashion. Its not an easy game, esp...

2013 video game of the year awards

Video Game of the Year Awards  Eligible Games: These will be limited to games I have played. I am not including certain games due to I haven’t played that much or I don’t care for them(THE LAST OF US). Here are the games that made me stay in the house this year. My biggest regret is I didnt play all of them as much as I wanted to...... ·          Pikmin 3 - Perhaps the most addictive game i played this year. Pikmin 3 is cute, but its far from easy. You have to collect fruit to stay alive or not get a gameover. So I think this adds another element of difficulty to the game. Rarely did I find myself  losing all my Pikminn, but i found myself out of fruit a lot.  ·          Grand Theft Auto V- GTA five is an excellent game. I feel almost like its a bit much to be honest. I dont like GTA games that much anymore but I had to give this one a try. Its got enough new features to keep ...

My Top Rappers list for 2013(Combined)

As you know i had a previous post about the best rappers from earlier on in the year. Now ive compiled a non blogged list for the 2nd half...here's the list of my top favorite rappers......... Criteria is an album from late 2012-to late 2013 among other things like guest spots, and general popularity. Enjoy the dopeness. If i missed a rapper comment your pick(s). Eminem- I didnt know if Eminem had it in him, but he released the years best rap album. He just lyrically is above everyone else. Yes really. Eminem is an elite rapper who noone wants to beef with. Slimshady will continue to be a force in the rap game till he quits.  Kanye West- Mr. West is always up near the top of my lists. Yeezus is a great album, with minor flaws.Overall though, 2013 was a great year for Kanye. Personal life aside, i think Kanye is now an elite rapper just like Nas and Jay-z....and oh yeah #1. Drake- The new best rapper in Young Money is Drizzy. He really impressed me this year with NWTS. The...

Katy Perry's Prism(Deluxe) Review

-Katy Perry has returned with another good album. This one however is very repetitive. The 2 nd half doesn’t have much energy either, but that’s where my complaining stops. This is a great album for Katy. The bonus tracks make it a little bit better than I would have given it. Her previous effort, Teenage Dream was a near classic but this one is just fine. It will keep her relevant and its good enough to give her another break to make more good music in the future I give this album a 9.25/10.

The Top Rap Albums of 2013

2013 is perhaps the most competitive year I can remember for rap albums. There’s a ton of quality albums that I’ve listened to. Here’s the yearly list enjoy. 1.      Eminem: The Marshall Mathers LP 2- Eminem, the greatest white rapper ever(without debate), has dropped another borderline classic album. Yes this is Eminem’s 2 nd best album ever. Its better than all of them except its predecessor, MMLP One. There is just so much lyricism , and the beats are more cohesive than the ones on Recovery. Its not perfect, but there’s not much wrong with it. Its kind of like MBDTF for Eminem. He has combined multiple styles of his past an incorporated it to this excellent album. 2.      Pusha T: My Name is My Name- Coming in at a close second is Pusha T.  I gotta admit I didn’t think Pusha could release an album that would surpass Jay-z, Kanye, and J.Cole’s albums; but he did just that. This album is dope with great rhymes and well used guest f...
